    Spare Trek Rail Battery

Do you ride more than 30/40 miles each time? I ride emtb and when I tried turbo it was too much for me. I don’t see where I would ever carry that battery. It’s huge and heavy. I could see if you have one in your car ready for more laps maybe. What we need to do is make an extender that fits the...

My thoughts after a week Rail7 Edited to include upgrades.

Mine does not have the Kiox. Rail 7 with the Purion. I think the bars look cluttered with both the purion display and the edge.

My LBS had the Kiox knock block frame mount. Since my old Edge 500 was working well still and didn't see too much benefit for the Kiox I like the location of the Kiox so I opted to graft in my Garmin mount into the Kiox mount. - Poof! (waiting for the epoxy to cure)

one last comment about the 108 hub. I spun it compared to my wife’s bike 54t stock and mine is way softer sound for sure. At least -30/40% softer sound.

    Biggest rear rotor for Rail?

True the stock brakes work well, but a larger rotor requires less effort. Mine is the 7 so it does not have xtr, but still 4 piston.

    Replacement ZEB Fork For Rail

Old thread I see. I’ll add I went 170 Zeb ultimate for my rail 7 and don’t really notice the slightly smaller crown. I like the ride height and the ride much better than the stock forks. The stiffness of the chassis is confidence inspiring.

    Rail rear rotor replacement

I have stock 200’s with about 100 miles on them if you need one.

    Biggest rear rotor for Rail?

I really like the stopping power with the 220’s. With the added weight of the bike as well as the big tires, it’s nice to be able to stop as well as it does now. The 200’s work well, but the 220’s eliminate any questions of stopping power With less effort.

220m up grade need help ??‍♂️

That is correct. My Yari stock forks had an adapter to run 200’s and specs stating 200 max rotor size. I threw on a Zeb and initially had to run the stock rotor with no adapter. Zeb specs 240 max rotor size. I put 220 on when the part arrived, adjusted the stock mount to fit properly. Those...

My thoughts after a week Rail7 Edited to include upgrades.

My first few spins up and down the street the rear hub was almost silent. I hope I did not use too much grease. I did notice it on the trails it hooks up right now with no delay as I felt before. From what I see there is no downside or weaker by using them. Possibly stronger as there is less gap...

    No E-Caliber love?

I love the looks of it. I rode the E C at my LBS. I went in with a rail in mind. What I found was it fit exactly like my current hard tail so I was instantly comfortable, after many trips around I hit some hills, then hopped on the rail and found it to be what I wanted. For me it didn’t have the...

220m up grade need help ??‍♂️

I have a trek rail7 came with yari forks. Swapped the Zeb and the 200 rotors I had did not need an adapter as the Yari did. So I had one to fuss with. I used the shimano adapter r120 shows.
