You can run it mullet, (several people have) or you could even run it full 27.5 if you want, (I did). But mine was 27.5 x 2.8. The BB is high to start with so it’s not to low with a mullet And most people run 165 or smaller cranks anyway so pedal strikes aren’t really an issue.
I’m 5’7 with a 29-30 inseam and just sold my K1 frameset and ordered the new K1 Race ID frameset. I had a 9point8 150 dropper in mine. It was perfect for my size. I think you could probably get away with a 170 if it’s a got a short lower tube insertion length.
Well, I think Leigh Johnson, (Pole’s factory e-ews pro racer) will beg to differ. He is tall and he downsized to go faster. The bike is fast either way, it just comes down to rider preference. As they say, to each his or her own, or different strokes for different folks. I didn’t have a choice...
But in addition to the limited edition race motor and race axles, the Race ID comes with all of the options, protective wrap, chain guide/chain guard, PE slider and Huck Norris inserts. So if you want it all, you gotta pay. Or just get the regular ID pack for less.
The 80* seat tube is why it climbs like a mountain goat and probably the best climbing ebike made. And as people who have ridden both say, the smaller size is more playful and easier to throw around, manuel and bunny hop. You don’t have to get a smaller size if you don’t want to though, so get...
They have a 25mm rearward offset post head available.

You can get a longer stem and or an offset dropper. 9point8 make a dropper with front/rear and center offsets. And if your hands and arms are getting tired, I’d suggest raising your bars or getting higher rise bars to take the pressure off of your hands. I find the seat tube angle great for...
And I rode that same Voima on my local black DH trails and black bike park trails without any durability issues. DH is my thing, I like to bomb DH as fast as I can, (for an old geezer). I just happen to be pretty smooth and easy on my wheels so I don’t need DH casings or inserts. I was just...
Weight isn’t an issue and they can be anywhere between 50 and 56lbs depending on the build. Mine was 50.8lbs with a 40 on it, so it would have been even lighter with a single crown, but mine was definitely on the light end of builds. I’ve since sold it and ordered the new “Voima Race ID...
I think your mileage will improve with warmer temperatures. But I don’t think you can add any more batteries, but you can get a spare and leave in in your transportation vehicle and swap them when you run out of charge. You can also get better range if your riding in a lower gear on climbs and...
Hey everyone, I thought i’d let evereverybody know i’m going to sell my K1 Voima frameset. I really love this bike, but I really really want the new K1 race id frameset. Mainly because I run full 27.5 and a 40, so the new frame with a narrower head tube will give me a better turning radius with...
I bought the frame only option, shipped through DHL and still had to fill out the DOT form. It cost me $187 in customs fees. My buddy bought the full build and went through regular mail and DID NOT have to pay any fees or fill out any forms. If I had to do it again, I would have used regular mail.
I’m 5’7 and I usually ride a small. I was afraid it might be too long because the k1 is a lot longer than all of my other bikes, but the steep seat tube keeps the cockpit about the same as my other bikes. I could have gone with a k2, but I wanted it to be more nimble and playful. Mission...
Thanks for your reply, it was helpful and sorry for my part in the thread derailment. One last thing though, the newer light plug for the smart system is round not square. I found out the hard way when I bought my light it came with the square plug instead of the newer round one. The new one...
Yes, I’m aware it’s done by the dealer. “I” is referring to me taking it to my lbs and having it done. Is everything else that I was asking correct? Or not.
What’s up with calling everything fake news? I’m not reporting any news, I was asking a question. Maybe instead of just saying fake news...
So just to confirm, if I disable and unplug from the light port and plug into the accessory port I won’t lose the 10% remaining power on the battery? And it looks like the plug is the same, just a different color, (yellow instead of blue) so no need to change the plug. What input voltage do you...
I read some, but not all of the link you posted and I’ll read the rest later. Thanks for the info. I assumed there would be a reduced range when the light is on, (but I haven’t ridden it with the light yet, so I’m not sure how much less range I’ll get) but it should be the same range when the...
