Tuned for me by me. I have a shock wiz and I set it up on my first Voima along with my 40 and later transferred both to my new Voima race ID. Super plush magic carpet ride and handles everything great. 🤘🏻😎
I run a Fox X2 air shock with 28% sag, I weigh about 175 with all my gear and hydration pack and I ride everything from trail to double black trails and park and everything in between, chunky steep, fast flow, jumps, drops etc.
The original link in this thread suggests that 2 be can be stacked for a 750 as well. Either way, I have an VV adapter and I just need the 500w battery now.

I just googled bosch 500w powertube battery adapter. These are a few that came up. Some of them are for 500 to 625 adapters, but they’re also available in 500 to 750.

We’ll luckily for me, I’m in So Cal, so I’ll never be riding in freezing temperatures. But I got the VV adapter because it was available to me and I couldn’t find any others that were available in the US or that would ship to the US. The VV one is nice and light and I think it’ll be fine in my...
Bosch will not sell anything direct to consumers. You have to go through a Bosch dealer. However, I have emailed Bosch USA to ask where I can get one and I’m waiting on their response. My local bike shop, (who is a Bosch dealer) is also checking with them and other parts sources .
The adapters are already available from a few sources. Mine is 3d printed from Vision Velo, the same guy that makes the Voima specific fenders and battery covers. I still have a couple of possibilities to get the battery that I’m working on, so hopefully I’ll have good news by next week.🤞🏼
Well, ebike24 is a no go for the battery. The short version is they can order me one, but the shipping would cost $300-$500 not including the cost of the battery. That’s not going to happen. So I’ll have to find another source.
This is their full email response,
“Thank you very much for your...
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the 500w vertical PowerTube for the Smart System is not in stock, but I just emailed them to ask how soon they will have more.
So unfortunately Pole said they can’t get any 500w smart system batteries right now. So I’m SOL at the moment. Until I can find someone to sell and ship me the battery.
Sounds awesome! I can’t wait to see the finished product. I’d actually consider building a new rear wheel with the rollhoff hub and add a belt drive to my Voima if it seems easy enough to do. Once you subtract the weight of the cassette and derailleur, the hub weight isn’t so bad.
I’m the same. I actually contacted Chris from Pole to see if they had any or could get one. Unfortunately he said they didn’t have any. But I’m sure if there were enough Voima owners who wanted them, they might order some and make them available on their website. In fact, I just emailed him...
Update! My Vision Velo adapter and battery cover have arrived! Now I just need to find a source who has the 500w vertical Smart System PowerTube battery, (bbp3751) and will ship it to me in the US. If anyone knows where I can get one that can be shipped to the US, let me know! By the way, the...
But why though? Why is it only available in Europe and why won’t they ship it anywhere else? Is it just because it’s new? WTF! I need answers and more importantly, I need the battery!
So I have the spacer on the way from Vision Velo and I got a battery from my local bike shop. But when I got the battery, it had a different plug and it’s not for the smart system, (I need a Bosch BBP3751). The problem is it doesn’t seem to be available anywhere in the United States! The next...
