Cheers Steve_Sordy…..the bike I was looking at was in fact the 2018 pro version which does comes with Di2 shifters and rear mech. The XL bike in the link was a 2019 model so perhaps they added it to the range for the latest model year? I need to find a dealer so I can book a demo bike.
I didn't...
Great overview Rob. Exciting that they have increased the battery size from the typical 500Wh offerings. Looking forward to the review as I am very interested in a 160mm travel ebike but concerned that they may provide less rider feedback.
It would be good to hear if Fantic also have a way of...
Hi currently have a 2017 Levo expert and want a second E-Bike so I can go on adventures with my son. We are both 6ft and my Levo is a XL. As the Focus does not specify on this model a XL is the large a good fit?
I have Di2 gears on my road bike but have no experience with them on a mountain...
Don't worry about the cheating dilemma of riding with non ebikes. With the Levo it uses a phone app (Mission Control) which allows you to tune the power modes. The Eco (lowest) mode can be tuned such that it simply cancels out the additional mass of a ebike. In effect making it a standard bike...
I don't use any navigation on the routes I normally ride. The Garmin Edge 1000 does provide navigation if needed. The control over the Levo is from a application available at Connect IQ store

I think that covers the majority or do's and don'ts. The liability and chemical management of Lithium batteries is well documented but at the moment they are the universal go to battery technology across many industries and applications.
My 2017 TL Expert is still going strong. I do have a battery indication issue but this does not effect the on trail performance. I currently use my Garmin to switch between modes but its not 100% reliable so may get a Garmin official unit if they are still available?
I updated the MC app and have now seen battery indication issues on my 2017 Levo. Not 100% sure it is the app causing the conflict it may just be one of those strange coincidences.
Also unable to input wheel size on the new version.
Have now switched to Z-works which is simply fab and has...
Yes when cycling with my buddies on their analogue mountain bikes. Makes a great training tool and you then really appreciate how amazing power assistance is on the trails when solo.
Happy to meet up on a weekend or evenings when the light improves. I know most local routes having ridden in this area for many years. I'm based in Saint Mary Bourne and work in Andover.
I am not aware of the more complex suspension systems making it onto any motocross bike, so I would therefore assume that a well sorted single pivot is still a viable technology. Some will say less is more and others that less gives you exactly that "less".
It ultimately comes down to the...
