Hi Steve, Could I ask what pressures you have in the fork and shock as we are similar riding weights?

The only thing I have noticed after a wet & cold ride is that occasionally the bikes power light on the top tube comes on if I am moving the bike manually around but goes off again once the bike is stationary again.

Same charger as mine which is silent. Both rides this weekend have been in snow so both wet and cold but charging afterwards was instant. Are you able to borrow another charger to confirm if its the charger or bike?

My charger and Jam2 is silent when turned on to charge. Seems strange that yours makes a noise unless you have a different charger model?

Is camping an option over the weekend?

Thanks for this...it’s actually a speed controller. Just adjusted mine to the fastest setting and now it’s working perfectly. An easy fix once you know the trick.

Thanks guys, I’ll remove it this evening and make sure the cable is not trapped. Good to know they do work in lower temperatures.

Mine stayed down when riding this weekend in the snow and cold conditions. It only returned to normal slow operation once the bike was back inside and had reached room temperature. I saw a thread which claimed that this particular seat post does not work at lower temperatures. Mine is sluggish...

Received my TEC pack yesterday and used it today for some fun in the snow. Now that I have seen it in person I am okay with the looks, especially with the matching blue accents. Need the snow gone now so I can get some longer rides in and enjoy the 756 watts true potential.

Hi Andy, My understanding is that the motor will depleat the TEC pack first and then you need to disconnect the TEC pack and it will run off the internal pack. I did read somewhere where someone said the changeover was automatic but I don't think this is the case as the control display I believe...

I read with interest your battery charging issues. I hope it gets resolved quickly for you. I think I’ll go hunting for a TEC pack and carry it in my backpack as I agree with you it upsets the bikes clean looks..

I picked my Jam2 up last Friday but they didn't have any TEC packs available. Just the one ride so far of 25 miles which depleted the internal battery. I like to ride for longer so will likely get a TEC pack as the bike encourages you to ride more. I'll have to compare my Levo battery...

Have any Focus Jam2 or Sam2 owners bought the TEC pack and not used it as much as they initially thought?

Just received a new battery from Specialized after taking mine in for the issues I had mentioned previous. First class service very happy!

Hi Steve_sordy, As you predicted my new Focus is missing any form of magnetic cover for the charge point. Could I ask for a photo of the item so I can share with the shop so they can either locate it or get me a replacement. Cheers, Shaun
