This! You see so many SL bikes come up for sales because owners expect the same thing as a FF. These bikes take time to adapt and are for a very certain rider, those of us who love the feel of normal mtb but want to get more out of our runs. If you buy a SL Chuck it in turbo or derestrict (ep8)...
Hmm that would be a shame! I have a few friends who take their SLs abroad and have battery out and just use the range extender. I thought trek had a even quicker solution with a easy to remove battery.
Ah awesome! i really like how it looks and the motor noise being silent really peaks my interest. What dealer did you find yours at? Love to see some pictures next time you head out. Wish my wife would ride bikes!
Amazed you found one so quick! aint seen any in person yet. I guess with the SL bikes their not designed to be rode in max mode all time, maybe try one of the less powerful modes.
Whats your take on the bike except the power difference?
There is a S6 sized gen 3 levo expert for sale on ebay, might be worth a look! the guys trying to market it for people from 6ft tall so not to sure how big it actually is in person.
I've heard september 50nm motor, slightly larger battery, slightly larger range extender, Stumpy evo geo but with no side arm more like the specialized epic evo shock mount. All rumours but as many have stated i feel trek have raised the bar with the TQ motor being small and quiet. I think these...
Love the motor size and the noise seems (from robs video) super quiet. I got a kenevo sl and aint to fussed about more power but the quietness of the motor does appeal to me. I've heard many rumours specialized are upping to 50nm for the next SL in september. I feel trek has really set the bar...
Love the look of this but for someone who has a levo sl for trail riding and a kenevo expert for steep stuff it dont fit my bill. Like rob most my riding is in group rides, i have my sl for riding with normal bike mates and solo, and the kenevo for group FF rides and parks Think my current set...
put my fox 36 on off my trail bike didnt really notice much difference so have gone back to the stock fork. I like how rowdy the bike is in the standard set up makes a exciting ride.
So after owning my kenevo around 3 months i took the plunge on a single crown fork. I do like the triple on certain trails but most local places it felt clumsy. My new forks yet to arrive so was seeing people who made the switch how is it? Why did you switch? any photos welcome.
