Does the Specialized unit use a separate battery or does it tap into the large downtube battery? I am considering which one to get myself.

Dang...I almost ordered the carbon... I wanted the fox shocks...but the color swayed me (oh and the extra $1k) Edit...I changed my order! Carbon it is!

Looking forward to getting it...bike shop said it would probably be May. That gives me more time for accessories :) I noticed that some of the videos show the bike tool in the stem. The one I looked at didn’t have it there. Is that only on the top ones or is that a European bike? Thanks!
