I love my AXS X01 on my Levo. You can install a PG-1230 casette on your shimano hub, no need to get an XD hub. If you already have an XD hub, just get any eagle cassette - preferrably not the XX1 ones.
Is it worth the money? Depends on how much money you have.
Is it pure smoothness when...
My 2019 levo came with these.
You can take the torque caps off and be left with "normal" caps that fit the fox 38, I guess. (Mine is in the mail.)
(The ring I'm holding is the torque-cap.)
Don't upgrade ANYTHING. Seriously. Get to know that bike first, it's an awesome bike.
If after a few rides you don't like something, then think about upgrades.
(For starters, after a few MTBs and 'upgraded' saddles, I still love the stock specialized saddle. One of the best I've had.)
Wow, quite a read.
I can tell you this:
1) The AXS is a good post and installing it is done in about 20 minutes, most of the time you'll spend de-installing the old seatpost.
2) If you are too close to your handlebar, at 1m79... I would say you could've used an L size frame. (But I haven't...
yes. don't wash it with a pressure washer or garden hose. Or of you do, stay well clear of the motor.
I've had this, unfortunately.
The connector in the motor might not be 100% (it probably isn't) and if you add water to that you get problems.
I had a new connector fitted and the problem went...
between www.bike-components.de and www.bike-discount.de - most of the time, it ships in 24h.
(local bike shops dont carry the exotic stuff I'm after...)
I couldn't get it in the usual position with the 36T chainring. But this works, even after a few rides.
I know someone makes an aftermarket guide that does fit.

Yes, you will need a longer chain. I'm not sure how much, I think I took 2 links off a brand new chain. But, I also changed to a 36T in front.
I recommend you follow the sram procedure and measure the chain according to your bike. In fact, I recommend you follow it all - I skipped a step, and...
I can't say I share the observation the bike sags under it's own weight. Mine does not, but I have a 65lbs spring so that probably differs from yours.
I find the sensitivity for small rocks especially better, but that is coming from a 2018 revelation - which is probably not the lyrik you are...
I installed it myself. It is not hard to do. But, you do need the proper tools and a bit of suspension oil listed in their manual. (Get those in advance!)
It does not destroy the fork immedeately as protective shrink wrap shields the fork from the coil, but...going back to air is not supported...
I cannot testify to the cascade link. (That price!!!)
But the Smashpot, I love it in combination with my ohlins coil on the rear. So. Darn. Plush!
(Combined with the fact that it's not very expensive compared to a new fork)
I certainly cant presume to speak for everyone, nor have I tested as much bikes as Rob. And for sure, my levo is at the moment "my bike", which gives it an edge over any stock model, even if it's an s-works. (I have installed a coil shock, sram axs group, guide rsc levers, and upgrades to the...
