I think that the ground conditions are probably THE major factor. I get about 40km out of a 500Ah battery in the dune sand - less sometimes. Yesterday's ride was mostly "hard stuff" - rocks, gravel and soft sand underlain by hardpack. There was only about 20m of mud in the whole ride - I got off...
