The best grip is achieved by a combination of shoe and pedal. Some pedals are flat and some are concave. If the shoe you choose has a very stiff sole it will likely not grip well on a concave pedal ( e.g. most DMRs/Stamp).
Then there is pedal width and the width of the pedal itself from the...
CO2 and a daptor plus a tube. Only ever had to use the Co2 once so far in several years and it was not because of a puncture! It was because of a presta valve not seating properly because it was gummed up with sealant....................I also carry 2 presta valve inserts just for that eventuality!!
you have to ask the question why would the retail trade discount stock at a time which is the lead up to the busiest shopping period of the year.....Xmas? Sales were typically used to clear winter stock to make way for new season garments....and yes it was primarilly the rag trade. Other retail...
Some time ago I ran over some sticks hidden in long grass and one caught in the speed sensor cable and pulled the sensor from its holder. My bike is the Whyte E160 RSX. The orange light told me I had a problem and the Kiox told me it was a Speed Sensor fault. Sure enough I found the speed sensor...
Some further thoughts/experiences with Fork set up:-
The advice is always to set SAG first but not be a slave to the manufacturers recommendations and there is a very good reason for that. Firstly the front to rear weight balance of bikes varies as does frame design and that means standing in...
some really good suspension set up advice a bove!
A small cameo example from me with Fox 38s ( Performance Elite/Factory).I have 2 bikes each using Fox 38s...one ebike tuned....the other not. The ebike tuned version is set up with compression and rebound settings pretty close to Fox...
As a bove of course it is Focus' problem.
Re the Canyon thread, the experience with those bikes may or may not apply to yours. Canyon do not for example use the complete Bosch battery rail system and some have also found the top main battery connector insecure. The main fixes tha the Canyon...
The damage to the spring is the clue. The spring was not fitted properly in the first place which means the brake pad was not releasing from the rotor on one side and being presented to the rotor at an angle when the brakes were re applied. The accumulated rubbish on the pad shows that it was...
Like a fool I spent time trawling though supposed Black Friday sales.............I should have known having worked in retail many years ago, that sales mostly consist of stock nobody wanted!
Well there are a few clothing bargains......especially if you are very big or very small but browsing...
......because it is a cat and mouse game between the firmware software engineers and the derestriction companies. The firmware engineers analyse those devices and build code into updates to defeat them. Then the derestriction companies modify their products which work until they are also...
..and if the speed sensor cable is the only modification then what it is doing is applying a % factor to the sensor/magnet pulse signal into the motor PCB. Seems to me the latest firmware would easilly detect a mismatch between the combination of torque applied and watts delivered for any given...
Leaving a side the top of the range XC model...............which is a ridiculous price anyway!............I really do not get these so called "light" bikes unless your riding only consists of fairly tame trails. On most of them, if you put a decent set of tyres on them and a beafier set of forks...
both should be just a matter of removing the end cap and pulling the HG or XD freehub off. Usually the easiest way to remove the end cap is to grip it in soft jaws of a vice and applying a little upward pressure on one side of the wheel, give the other side a tap upwards with your hand.
just look up your local bike shops.........if they sell Bosch motored bikes they are likely Bosch Service Centres ( which generally just means they have at least one Bosch trained mechanic and are registered to access the Bosch Service App).
To identify whether the bike in question is Bosch gen...
