not just you! It may help a little but merely reinforcing the latch does not address the reason the latch gets damaged in the first place..............in my opinion!

The battery is on charge in that video and clearly overheats.....you can see smoke before it explodes. There are no cycles in that store so the battery is presumably for one of those scooters.
