The most reliable EMTB:-
1. Preferably not a new release unless you want to be the early adopter guinea pig!
2. Any brand of bike ridden within its quoted ride classification
3. Any brand of bike well maintained
4. Any brand of bike equipped with orginal components or upgrades/replacements...
a good comparison is a power pack.....e.g Jackory. Invariably RRP is £1 per w/h...........so a 500w/h is £500 and often cheaper in a sale. That includes the charger, several ports, usually a cooling fan and a robust casing with handle. I really connot see why EMTB batteries are up to double that...
did you try replugging the extender cable then switching on? Although the extender was empty you may have removed connection to it whilst the system was transfering to use of the main battery...........you interupted that sequence maybe.
Wearing a heavy helmet can certainly cause neck pain especially if your riding position on the Levo makes you lean too far forward.....meaning you have to hold your head higher to see where you are going!! In terms of your suggestions I would have thought the reach may be too long. You could try...
.............meanwhile there is a growing opportunity for new players to launch retrofit products. At the moment there are large numbers of bikes from different brands fitted with Bosch CX4 motors that are out of warranty and/or with high mileage, and that number will grow. Same story for bikes...
I think a lot depends both on the type of trails you ride and your level of fitness. Fitness can also be age constrained given there are 4 different aspects, muscle strength, stamina, cardio and recovery. I changed from mtb to EMTB at 68 when I found "recovery" was the main one of those 4 to be...
all of our bikes have software algorithms that use torque and cadence to determine the current delivered to the motor......and what speed that would typically relate to. Continued operation where that speed falls outside the algorithm norms over any pre determined time range...maybe averaged...
So with the wheel removed from the bike does the thru axle move smoothly through the hub?
Any thru axle is difficult to remove with the wheel in the bike if the wheel is not held absolutely square. So I suspect your knackered pivot bearings are to blame for your problem. The chainstays were...
the bike industry is famed for developing solutions to problems that do not exist! If it aint broke...dont fix it!! I have X01 /GX mix on one bike, GX AXS on another. Both work flawlessly and need no more than slight and quick easing of crank pressure for gear changes so no incentive for me to...
the problem with the original gen 2 Levo battery to motor cable was that it was too stiff and the contortions it had to endure specifically at the motor end plus the inevitable vibrations when the bike was on rough ground, either pulled the outer sheath away from the plug or cracked the plug...
well as an UK citizen, Black Friday/Cyber Monday are both something of a mystery!! They are US imports and since we do not celebrate Thanksgiving, somewhat meaningless! They only really started to appear in the UK about 10 years ago, and even now not every company bothers with it. So for me it...
