Hi, notice you have the same Bosch spider as me, which is the normal chain line of 50mm we both need the boost version that gives us 53mm,only stock I can find is in Italy ?
Hi, does anyone know what headset the Stilus has? I know it’s FSA but which model..reason I ask is I wonder if mine is missing it’s lower seal. I fitted a reverse angle spacer as suggested by a nice guy on YouTube but I thought the bottom of the headset had the crown race, rubber seal then...
Just so you know, the way I found out my figment was out was to leave the eyelet bolt tight but remove the trunnion fixing bolts, swing the shock out obviously forwards and see if it sits in the middle of the link ?
Yeah, exactly the same so that was a bit of luck I wouldn’t have changed the length etc as I would assume that’s bad for the geometry but I maybe wrong.
Hi Rob, if you ever change your shock could you let me know how the alignment is? I fitted a new Fox shock today and the fixings don’t totally line up I have to pull the trunnion end over one side by around 1.5 -2mm to get it to fit in the Horst link..not ideal obviously...just wondered if I’m...
muck off cleaner, leave for 5mins then gently hose down but not a pressure washer, once dry either dry or wet lube on the chain and dry the rest of the bike with good cloths that’s I d.
It maybe bad luck but after initially loving the Stilus I’m plagued with another problem, I decided to buy a new rear shock and fitted the bottom eyelet fixing first moved to the top trunnion bolts and the shock is over to one side and to get it to fit you have to pull the shock over hard to get...
I was sent to the parts page on Decathlon website I guess to shut me up however you can’t buy the pivot bolts, Decathlon need to source these as the material is crap.
Hi Stilus owners, so I serviced my bearings by that I mean removed bolts to clean the crap out!
Warning for some the bolts on my bike were over tight and I stripped the Alan head which resulted in using an easy out which was scary but I have a bolt in there now.
A question I have is the when I...
HI Rob,
I wondered if you may have any ideas how I can get out riding, the bolt in my Stilus holding the rear shock on has stripped Alan fixing and now it’s just a round hole, it’s not going to fall out but if I ever want to remove the bolt or shock I’m stuck as is the bolt, do you have any idea...
Hi did you have any luck with the bolt? Mine just stripped on the shock mount the Alan fixing is oversize on all the bolts so metric Alan keys wobble too much plus mine were far too tight so much my shock was locked, I’ve emailed decathlon uk but probably have no success in a replacement bolt set.
Hi Rusty
Do you think TFTuned will do bolts for this frame? I’ve used them before for the fixings but I assumed this countersink bolt is specific to this frame ?
