Mine has done the same thing since last year. Same year and model. Only on steep climbs. Otherwise is works fine until I get to the last bar. I have about the same mileage as you as well. I do live in the dry hot Nevada desert and don't ride unless it's at least 50 degrees and less than 105...
When that post gets old and or you can feel ok with spending the cash, the rockshox axs is sweet! I put one on my 2018 Focus Jam2 plus pro and love it. The old Reverb was getting long in the tooth and I use my dropper a lot.
You explained it well. It will catch the crank when spinning it backwards and rotate the chain just like an analog bike. The bolt that holds my cranks to my chainring is a T30. I put that socket in the bolt and back peddle. works great. My girlfriends Haibike I use the same thing.
I know the SL is all about lite weight but a set of Cush Core interests just might be the ticket. If I Get The SL I will definitely be putting them in. I have them in two other bikes and really like the added protection.
Silly why Fox forks don't accept torque caps. Heck, even Trust Performance Massage forks do. In my opinion Fox is dropping the ball. Looks like my next e bike is going to be a 2021 Specialized S Works Levo SL. It's got thr new Fox 36 forks on it. I know the bikes hubs don't take torque caps but...
Mine does that too. 2018 plus pro with 2200 miles on it. Seems to like the heat more than the cold. When Mine shuts off on a steep climb with two bars left I have to power it back up. It shuts down completely. ☹
Thank you for your reply. And also the new fox 36 forks too. I was telling my girlfriend it was almost to good a deal to pass buy and the odds of finding the S Works at this price with warranty and all is probably never gonna come again.
Yes they are on acoustic bikes. I'm the only one with an ebike except my girlfriends and we have to wait for her for about 5 minutes every mile. Her skill level is a bit lacking as she never rode a dirt bike or bmx when she was young. Thank you for your help. I'm feeling more confident as I read...
You have to be the best person I can ask this question seeing what you did to your SL. First off a little about me. 55 years old. Been riding emtb's for about 2 years know. A fairly modified 2018 Focus Jam2 Plus Pro. Got a little over 2300 miles on it. I like the power well enough but I don't...
I ride with a guy that leads on a hardtail Niner. I have trouble keeping up with him! He was a Roddie for years and now mainly rides MTB. He is the exception to the rule at 50 years old. The main reason I got an EMTB was to keep up with him.
I'm 54 and I have to admit I ride in mainly Fox gear. I do have some pants from Club Ride Appeal that are nice and they have a great line of functional clothing that can take you from the trail to a casual lunch meeting without a blink. (Unless your covered in mud and sweat lol)
I seen that. I read another shop is going to take over while they do R&D on new products. Either way they are on the UPS truck as we speak. I sent them an email yesterday to ask about my bike being over forked and got two reply's. They feel the Massage may have been a better choice scene it's...
Well I ordered the Trust Performance Shout forks today. The axle to crown it about 25mm longer on the Trust forks than my 150mm Rockshox Revaluation's. I will have to go back to the 27.5 front wheel. I hope I like them. If not someone's gonna get a good deal on a Barely used set.
I was afraid of that. Not that it's a big deal. Just My dealer doesn't want me dropping the motor. Potential warranty issues if I do. Sound silly but it's true.
