I don’t know why giant is shipping these bikes with high roller 2 as the rear tyre? Probably for less drag ? My 2020 reign was the same and the rear struggled for traction when climbing when the trails were wet. For now I’m on 2.6 assegai front and rear and it’s amazing.

Correct this also happened last year with the previous reigns. My local shop told me not to use the app so I didn’t. There was a thread on here about it,bikes being bricked etc. it’s nothing new, I don’t know where that thread is tho. The app is handy if you want to adjust your assist levels...

Did u ride the 2020 reign? That was low!

You will notice the difference! when my new 2022 arrives it will be the first thing I do and keep it as a spare.

On my previous 2020 reign I ditched the Kmc after it developed a tight spot for a shimano xtr 12 spd chain! the shifting was instantly better and ran smoother
