I contacted the retailer and they will handle the communication with Orbea for me. The retailer said that due to the long distance I have to their store, they will send me a new rear triangle. Then I realised that I want a mechanic to make the swap, so we’ll see how it will be solved.

Nice, did you have trouble fitting the shock, or did you use any offset bushings? I want to increase my shock to 150 mm and front 160 mm, but still like to continue full 29er.

I did find the protection and it also fits the allu frame! It would be nice to here a review once you put it to the test, how durable the plastic is towards impact and if it helps preventing water and mud. Cheers!
