Made a mistake and corrected above, I run the 2.4 at 35psi.
The inserts fill about 50% of the tyre with closed cell foam. Not quite the same a tokens in a shock but along the same lines.
It was in one of the 3 Singletrack Magazine YouTube videos on the release of the new Focus Jam2/Thron with 2020 Bosch motor. Probably a month or so ago.

Why fine all this time at those pressures only to have puncture on two new tyres in short succession? Riding locations & style hasn’t changed.

Not sure if it was a oversight, the lowers are Fox 36 not a 34. Its the internals which are from the 34 (damper/air shaft) due to the stanchion walls being thicker (smaller ID).

Used to run combined knee/shin pads from POC, they didn't stay in place very well. I do still use them on serious days as they are hard shell.
