The TEC packs have an RoPD connector with CAN bus connection so is not straight forward. There are a few companies who make range extenders, one of them is active on the forum (TrailwattsUK) . If you do a search you should find the threads.

Suspect the charger has drained the bike battery after the timer cut the AC supply to it. Hopefully the BMS cut in and saved your battery from exceeding the battery low voltage threshold. Have you managed to charge it back up OK since?

That Wheelset will be great on an ebike. Probably better with an 18 or 36 tooth ratchet rather than a 54t (normally aftermarket upgrade).

No. The highest gear of NX is 11 tooth which goes on a regular splined hub. The XD driver hub is for GX & above 11 or 12 speed where the highest gear is 10 tooth. 12spd Shimano is a different standard again.
