Hi Dave Thanks for this, very heart warming. I had partial knee replacement surgery 3 years ago and it was that that got me back into cycling as part of my recovery. Do the exercises and slowly does it with the bike. I wish you well Geoff

I used the AA for the house, building and contents and added both our ebikes valued at 5k combined came to 194 gbp. The away from home cover for the ebikes is really good as well

Guys, the feedback on this topic has been amazing, thank you all so much. So having cogitated and inwardly digested your replies I've decided to go with big ben plus tyres (tubed) with the tannus armour inserts. Getting them fitted next week ready for the season. Awesome! Will post how I find...

Interesting reply this, didn't give this approach consideration. Any body else used tannus armour inserts? What's really interesting they come in two forms, tubless or tubed. I like the idea of the run flat feature

To be clear, I'm talking about those emergency tyre inflators that use co2 cartridges

Hi And thanks alot for all your replies. I'm edging to tubless, being 74 this year seems to me a lot less hassle for an oldie once set up and with ebikes being so heavy. Will post final decision and choice of tyre when final decision is made. Thanks again very helpful
