    Newest firmware update 2017/2018 levo

Ok, I took my wife's 2018 Levo in to my local Specialized shop and they were able to upgrade the firmware on the battery and motor so that it is now outputting 20 amps +, so that's great. Next I take in my 2018 Kenevo expert and when I get it back, the motor firmware is now set at version...

Disc brake change to Magura MT7

I had to do some grinding on the stock caliper to give the Hope rotors adequate clearance. The Magura rotors on the other hand worked fine without adjustment.

    Newest firmware update 2017/2018 levo

I have a 2018 Kenevo that is maxing out at 15 amps. If I go to the new firmware I assume I'll lose my speed hack? Also, I assume in Turbo mode the battery will drain 33% faster?

Disc brake change to Magura MT7

I need to measure the MT7 rotors on my Specialized Enduro when I get home. They are very worn. I will bet that they are currently much thinner than 1.8mm. ETA: Rear rotor is 1.62mm thick, Front rotor is 1.71mm thick.

Disc brake change to Magura MT7

I used Hope rotors with the MT7's with no issues. The Hope rotor is 0.2mm thinner than the Magura rotors so there was more clearance through the calipers.

    For you Kenevo fans.

Major safety issue worthy of a recall or a massive lawsuit if severe injury results. Of course, these things wouldn't happen if people kept their maximum speed below 9.63 kph!

MT7 PRO brakes just arrived - so sexy!

Yes! My new MT7 PRO brakes just arrived for my 2018 Kenevo! These insanely powerful brakes are needed because I de-restricted my e-bike and it keeps pulling the bike forward like a howling banshee -literally forever! Only brakes as powerful as Magura MT7's have any hope of stopping an insane...

    Hacking ! Why ?

No, just poking some fun at the idea that de-restricted bikes are super dangerous or super selfish.

    Hacking ! Why ?

Too late! I've got a de-restricted Kenevo, and I'm loving it!

    Hacking ! Why ?

All E-bikes should be restricted to a maximum speed of 9.63 km/h. Any faster is dangerous to the rider and any small children, pets or pedestrians that might be on the trail. If you want to ride faster than 9.63 km/h THEN GET A DIRT BIKE and ride it on a closed course where you are not putting...

    Loving my kenevo

It's incredible! This is how the 2020 Kenevo should be configured, but with 200mm travel in the rear. Seriously, the black and gold is amazing. Sam Sparro gives that bike 2 thumbs up.
