Can Specialized Rider Care respond to whether there is a motor issue, and whether we should be concerned about purchasing the Turbo Levo 2019 at this time?
Do you mean to say the retailer can input the smaller wheel size (27.5") with the internal service tool. so that the motor can determine riding speeds correctly?
Do you know whether the maximum speed before motor cut-off will be smaller or greater with the 27.5" wheels?
Do you think Specialized could/will fix this?
So you turned on "shuttle mode" via the Mission Control app I presumed, and it worked?
I have learned that at least 1 member apparently in this community tried but could not make the shuttle mode work.
And up until your post above (thanks for responding!); you are the first and only person...
But in another thread in this forum, people say the Mission Control App for the new Levo does not work.
If the app doesn't work, and shuttle mode depends on the app; then the shuttle mode probably doesn't work either. I am hoping you or anyone else could confirm whether shuttle mode indeed works?
Can anyone who already has the 2019 Levo tell me exactly how shuttle mode is turned on, and whether it really works?
I can't find specific information on shuttle mode anywhere; not even in the Turbo Levo 2019 user manual.
Thanks so much again for your input!
Do you have any experience with the Yamaha motor? Like the graph above appears to suggest - people say power of the Yamaha motor falls rapidly with increasing cadence. Would you consider this an issue?
Thanks for your review.
Similarly to other reviews I've read, you say "As with the 1.3 it's important to keep the pedals moving when going up difficult climbs, if you stop pedal to regain balance or alter the position on the bike , the motor will disengage and it will be a hard task to get it...
Can I ask what you mean by "Still lacking behind in the battery department though."
The Giant battery is 500 watts like most other e-bikes; is the Giant battery lower quality, offering less range?
That's interesting - Specialized claims (at least from what I've read) that their new Brose moter is the only "instant on" motor available; and what you are saying corroborates others saying the Yamaha motor is best for hills.
Is that why you ordered the giant e trance? (thinking of that bike...
