Yeah, they are a real bitch to get off. I could only do it by standing on the tyre to get it to unseat the bead. Held pressure tubeless well though as you say Ken (and inflated easily with just a track pump).
They also rolled really well.
Now if they only gripped in the loose/mud offload...
Many have done it, I just got my Kiox but not installed it yet. For bikes where you don't have to drop the motor it's easier, but depends on the bike...
Interesting data Tim,
You bring to life the 'real' story behind the difference eMTB's make. I rode my Giant Anthem XC acoustic bike at around 15-17mph, so a full fat eMTB at the 15.5mph limit doesn't get me there faster, in fact like you it's about the same or slightly slower as it weighs twice...
Sounds about right ?
Congrats on fixing it, I was just about to say "Have you recently tied an extension onto your read Mudhugger, as it's probably that"...
I have the Bosch and the "rattle" is a minor thing in my view. I ride with lot's of Levo's and their Brose motor's definitely sound quieter than mine and they are pretty much all on their second or third motor.
If noise is. big thing for you, then you could prioritise the Brose motor, but for...
Yes, you can hold down the + and - key on the Purion as you turn on the display and it will scroll through all the SW versions. It's a lot of info!
Your looking for the second one, DU and if you have 1.1.0.0 or 1.2.0.0 you have 85nm, if it says 1.0.2.0 or 1.0.3.0 then you have the 75nm.
I love the look of the Orbea Rise, definitely a glimpse of the future and of course the other brands will bring out their versions.
Regarding the earlier point about not wanting to lift either one over a gate, that is also a really good point. If you have to lift the bike anywhere at home, or...
You could always take a look at this thread, but surely your not that lucky ;-)

You could try posting the video somewhere and linking it here for people to help diagnose, there definitely a lot of expertise here.
Agree Decathlon are not heeded up for this level of bike in terms of diagnostics. They sent me to a LBS to get my SW update and that was a relatively simple job...
Definitely, I ride longer and harder on my Full Fat than I did on my normal XC bike.
It encourages you to "explore"and go places or up hills you would not normally go to, so yes you can definitely get fitness.
Just depends on the type of ride and feel and handling you are looking for Brook
Quick Update on the eWilds!!!!
They don't give me 10-15miles less distance on one charge like I thought, I'm just an idiot!
Here's the chain of events:-
Smart Sams provided poor grip offload in mud or hardpack/loose trails
Lowered tyres pressures and lowered again to improve grip
It did help...
With regards to "Normally I like nothing better than cleaning and lubing my bikes, but it is a big pain with the Whyte and probably most Ebikes. The chain doesn't move when you pedal backwards!", Rob's trick of wedging a stick in the chainring and back-peddling until the crank arm rubs up...
Welcome Macka,
You’ll find everything you need for sure on here!
I even recall reading on here that Giant bikes can increase their speed limit by 5mph by turning the bike into US mode with a couple of special key presses ?
Hey Brook,
Looks like you've got some great advice already! One thing I would really consider is how much you weigh and how fit you are.
Repeating a little of what's been said, I'd look at it like this:-
Get the SL if:-
You are already cycle fit and can climb well on a normal analogue bike...
