Over 4,000 miles on Volspeed V3 Bosch Performance CX motor running max between 37kmh and 40kmh Top speed with no errors.
Brought from eBikeTuner on here which was quick and simple and the product has been 1st class. No complaints at all.
Maybe some truth to that, but hard to draw definite conclusions from the reviews I've read. I've ridden 2,500 miles without an error code, mainly in tour but more recently many in EMTB. I never really use Turbo.
I think the key thing is setting a reasonable max speed (mines been set to 24mph...
Rusty! Nooooo! I can't believe your leaving the Stilus Family!
I can definitely vouch for Rusty's level of care and attention to detail for his bike, as he helped many Stilus owners on this forum including myself ensure we looked after our bikes.
So for all those people who wanted one but...
Good question Lightning, I feel your pain! ?
So here is my view and I did post to this effect 6 months or so ago which may have more detail but net net:-
There is NO guarantee and you will read one person say "amazing no errors" and the next say "hit a 504 etc"
I analysed every thread on here...
All sorted, thanks Rusty, exactly the same as yours. Lasted 2,000 miles though ;-)
I'd suggest people proactively clean this from time to time or you will get the dreaded creak too ;-)
Easy to do, you just need 3 pairs of hands!
I'm sure its the headset bearings but not had a chance to take the forks off and clean and grease them :-( and the noise is driving me nuts!
Will get around to it...
Exactly what I'm looking at Kev, I'm 175cm on a Large Stilus looking to go for a Medium Rise so let me know how you get on/compare.
I did but a 70mm Stem on my Stilus as the cockpit felt cramped
Thanks guys, went for a ride today and definitely not the seat or post as it still does it when I’m standing up.
Really sounds like it’s coming from the Stem so will remove and re-torque...
Name that Tune...
Anyone else developed this rattle???
To narrow it down:-
It does it when your not peddling so I don't believe it's motor related
It does it when the front fork is locked out
It does it when you hold on to the bottle cage
It does it when you hold the breaks, or the Kiox...
Thanks for the detailed information Philip, very interesting.
Per numerous post on her you friend with a limit of 60kmh was going to get a 504 but I’ve not read many people on here getting it with a limit set to 35kmh.
I would suggest you try again, maybe at 33kmh, you should be fine.
So the key point here if I understand it correctly, is it's not as simple as downloading the App and paying for a premium license to change the country to the United States.
You also have to get the 4.0.2 FW and downgrade the EP8 RS FW to this older version, correct?
I understood you had to do...
You definitely don't have to remove the bash guard to fit the 625w battery. As you say Rusty you have to take the bracket of the metal holder and then turn the metal holder around 180 degrees and remount the bracket.
It's certainly tight doing up the repositioned bracket, but definitely doable...
