I'm on the same boat as you.
Reliability over anything... and that's the reason I prefer something proven and less shinny.
What have "we" learnt:
FACTS:
- The Strive :ON, don't show any cutouts from new, meaning 0 kms.
- The cutouts start to show upon usage.
- Depending on the trails/usage...
Sorry for being such a teasing pussy? regarding the solution, but I really want to make sure that it will work flawlessly.
Imagine, that for each meter you ride, you bounce 3 times in average, due to rocks, roots, etc...
~300km is less than 1 million (900.000 to be exact!) cycles. In fatigue...
Almost 300km, and until now, things are doing ok!
The anti-rattle battery device, is working flawlessly, and bike is much, much more silent!
Need to remove the chain to check if it cuts all noise coming from the engine (due to pedal kickback/suspension). If it does... will equate an OChain., or...
I was in that same boat...
Thing is, knowing how big companies work, and getting feed up with all BS from Commercial/Warranty, I prefer to give a try, having all know-how on more complex machinery.
Thing is:
The Stive :ON is an excellent machine on the paper
Problem is that it has 2 "father"...
So in total it's really 6 bolts
Red (1) connects the bracket assy to the part that connects to the frame, which is connected using the bolts you see outisde on the downtube (black (3)]
You still have the bolts marked in Blue (2), that connects the plastic bracket to an aluminium bracket.
You...
The upper Battery bracket is supported in total by 6 bolts (if I'm not wrong... didn't take any pictures!)
So there is 2 holding the backet to the frame, acessible by the outside.
And then there are 2 more:
2 in front (if you look inside the downtube)
2 underneath (if I recall correctly) -->...
Unfortenatly (Very Unfortenatly, btw...), I had several battery problems after the first 1.000 kms.
When I first saw the msg stating the problem, I thought it would be just some, and mostly those that remove/install the battery regularly.
Never thought it won't happen, but since I rode over...
Solution is on the way!
In the meantime, check your upper bracket, and assemble everything with threadlock
At least we didn't had this kind of problems

Ehehehheeh!
Thing is...
A dog with two onwers, will die of starvation!
Same here! Power...
Try this:
Open Flow App
Go to compoments
Check all components are connected (green dot)
Go ride or move battery while assembled
Check if battery goes off on flow app
If this isn't possible, then:
You need to sort everything (troubleshooting)
Disassemble all power system (battery, battery...
90kg to 75kg is 20% more, and it's a lot (=3 barrels of 5 liter full of water).
To consume same battery, you would need to expend +20% more power to make it even - being human or motor power!
Basically you need to equalize the relationship between power and weight (power/weight).
Yes, show it.
The removal of the bracket is a real PITA, and anyone with strong forearms, will have to use a/the tool.
When I did mine, I didn't took too many pictures, but I'll try to make a picture/drawing instructions on how to proceed.
And insist on having the bracket removed.
I also asked...
When new, the Strive :ON don't present any problem on the battery connection. The bike normally works flawlessly and some owners will concluded that the power surge problem is just on some bikes.
As rides accumulate, depending on the trails, and usage, the power cuts can start earlier or...
Some photos from yesterday ride (36km / 1584m/92% @750W battery)
Knowing that wild horses didn't run, means bike is silent, after "repairing" upper bracket and "Simple Solution Prototype" meaning it's doing it' work in holding properly the battery! Eheheh
Joy has returned, knowing that the...
I would prefer to place some Foam Tape (eg: )
It's not the solution I'm testing BTW, but it's a solution and easy to install!
PS: after all the bolts and bracket correctly tight, I can say that the solution has made the bike more silent, and after 100km, and over 4500m, no cutouts!! It looks...
@Tieff
I prefer to test it, and check it really solved the issue, before disclosing the solution, and prefer to explain why:
I had over 1000km problem free, meaning without any power cutouts.
Then, the bike became having further rattle until cutouts appear (and when it happen, I couldn't...
