Full power ebikes, are heavier due to blurier tires, brakes and suspension (travel & rigidity). Testing these kind of bikes against a SL ebike on mellow, soft trails, will not show the reality on trails that are harder and requires more skill to...
It's not that hard.
#1-Remove battery
#2-Disassemble lower bracket
#3-Duct tape/zip tie the cables (should be 2 groups)
#4-remove the metal strips that protect the cables
#5-Remove outer bolts that secure upper bracket
#6-remove upper bracket
Disassemble upper bracket/Clean/threadlock ALL bolts...
There are tools from Bosch.
Doing this job, I noticed my left arm ain't slim enough, and I'm right hander.

Just to understand, a SL-eBike rides like a Bike, but there is a difference between 4 and 5kg?
And a Full Power ebikes are starting to show around 21/22.
My question is: if 4 or 5 extra kgs doesn't make much difference, why 6 or 7 makes, with all the advantages regarding:
Power/torque
Range
Options are always better than no options
People value things differently.
Personally I embrace ebikes has being ebikes, and not bikes with assistance, or moto with pedal.

Manufacturers try to build an ebike close/similar to a BIKE, but that is close to impossible.
These bikes (light/mid weight mid power bikes), are for those that think ebikes are bikes, and their not! It's a different category. Having pedals, doesn't make them a bike

Remove, inspect and perform the threadlock mod to all bolts on the upper bracket.
While you're there, check wiring for chanfing/tear/other issues, and clean&polish everything as described.
Once this is performed, and while using the new latch, you shouldn't have more problems.

After the summer holidays I'll have news.
For now... nothing to report, other than bike hasn't had any problems.
I would insist on everyone doing the threadlock mod on the upper bracket.
That alone, I would say it will stop any disconection 99%.

Just a word of caution.
Verify all pivot bolts once in a while!
I'd would advice doing every 5 to 6 rides.
Caught the main pivot, pivots at rear axle and shock mount bolts out of spec.
Still thight, but not to proper torque.
Coming from a Santacruz, this is a 1st for me...
