Well if you are one of the unfortunate people who downloaded the MC 2.0, then realized it didn't work with old app there, and deleted that to allow the new to work, then you can't go back. The old is already gone and effectively seized working for you. We are beating a dead horse here. At this...
They have the right to do what they think ok or them which may not always be the most customer friendly thing. Most of us love the product but we get to decide when something is not acceptable and buy different product. That’s all I said. No one is expecting to put a triple cramp fork and get...
As far as deristricting goes fair enough. For one I won’t go back and it’s my decision. I bought the bike damn it.
Now if something breaks and you can show and prove to me how something I did led to the problem, then fine I don’t expect you to warranty it. But blanket invalidation of warranty...
Just got the wahoo bol,t today. Much better option than my phone! Even if the screen is nowhere near a phones, it shows me what I need and us easy to use. The Garmin is pricey but bolt covers my needs at a reasonable price.
If you bought maps with the old app but later downloaded MC v2, then those maps are probably gone. The app doesn’t even show the page with the maps. I don’t know. I got myself a wahoo element bolt to go on the bars so I will just use that. Instead especially it has turn b6 turn navigation
What’s wrong with 3rd party apps that are not damaging the bike? I have all my cars tuned and 3rd party gadgets that are not really harmful on them no problems. Why is the cycling world like this? I mean screw it. I bought the bike I should be able to tweak it without draconian restrictions. If...
Got yelled at and told go get a motorcycle license for that thing for first time while out riding on the trails. I attempted to laugh it off but the guy had an angry attitude so I ignored him and rode off. Then going uphill I got the; “Oh look he has a motor! You are cheating!” By a couple who...
going on 3rd week with a new 18 expert. Have same dilemma. My phone is too big on the bar. Unfortunately the computers available pale compared to a phone. For now phone is best option. Now the software... ah just buy the BLEVo and learn it and enjoy. There is no reasonable comparison with the...
In today’s world with everything programmable and software so good this was a missed opportunity. Plus releasing beta crap to people and removing the old one and not even bothering to tell the end user it is beta is irresponsible. If I had known it was beta I’d not have bothered use it. Now I...
No. And if so am not going to continue using it. Thats violation of privacy. I didn't see anything prominently asking me to agree to that either. Would be good to know exactly what in non-vague terms that they are collecting and if or not it is tagged with the actual owner of the bike. Since...
No free lunch. Its a trade off. A little more speed and a little less torque. Did I notice or miss the torque? Not really and I doubt I will. Did I notice the speed? Yes. If you are climbing steep technical terrain maybe you'll notice the lost torque, but this bike climbs even super steep hills...
This software barely works with 2018 model levo. Instead of having software for the new bikes with bunch of features that don't work with older models but not even a hint or direction about what won't work with what; May I suggest having different versions of the software and specifically noting...
Ross please stop with the generalizations and assumptions, its not nice nor accurate. I bought the levo based on pure feeling I got from riding it, I don't care what people think of the brand and honestly 98% of people in my circle don't even know what it is and many think its US $1500 bike...
Installed this one and bike so much better.
Wolf Tooth 36T Chainring suddenly I am using a lot of the gear range and bike is gets up to reasonable speed at my comfortable cadence. It will never be a road bike though, but thats not the point. It is a lot more usable on paved flat trails on your...
No I only care about speed on paved flat open transport sections. I do not wish to fall at speed so when trail is off road I slow down to a safe crawl as do I in Ibarra jungle packed with pedestrians and equally distracted drivers.
I think he got a discount on the 2018 so considering discounted prices vs the 2019 as we are talking fairly recent purchase. I too decided not to wait and bought a nicely discounted 2018 expert knowing we were couple weeks to a month to new 2019s but I knew there would be no dis ousts to be had...
