you also have limited sales in USA on ebikes so they need all the profit to keep the research going prob the fastest moving technology in bikes right now.
Face it, the only real reason a company would sell a frame set and loose large profit margin is for advanced riders and high end shops to...
My bike comes standard with this and i have had pretty good luck with it.
I prefer it when playing but found in a couple races i was stuck between gears a lot and it cost me.
Also have had a few people who purchased new bikes who ride in high power all the time have chain issues and broken a...
My bikes have 165 and 170mm cranks. I have considerably les pedal strikes with 165mm arms.
160 travel has 170
180 travel has 165
On chunky trails i run 20% sag in rear and my bike is slack enough to handle that setup without upsetting the downhill ability.
Yes both the pivots in the picture. But when i ride a Bosch it feels really harsh, So does the Yamaha.
I do have my cleats deep in my shoes and tightly clipped in so I’m sure the metallic feel is coming through the metal contact making it considerably more noticeable then with flats.
I get a...
But what I’m really liking about Eddy is i have just over 130 miles and some serous DH runs on chunk, DG, and hiro dirt and they still don’t look like they ever been used.
I have, MM, DHR2, hillbilly, Eddy Current, aggressor, assegai.
Hands down the eddy current destroys chunk and hero dirt like nothing i have ridden, no tread wander at all in hard G corners.
Just isn’t the best in mud. Hillbilly works better in mud but not even close anywhere else.
Not the...
I think the problem with fame sets is the manufacturer are worried about industry standard sub 30lb bike parts making there way onto 48+lbs bikes and creating a safety issue.
Once the gen bike knowledge catches up to the ebike heavy weights i think you will find frame sets slowly working...
I haven’t been able to give the intense or mountain cycles a fair shake down yet, so my comments have to stay to myself until i can give them a proper setup and trial bashing.
But i have to say if your not a serous enduro rider who pushes the limit your going to be hard pressed to find a more...
I don’t think i would say artificially priced bike with comparison of components to other bikes. The tooling for the internal core frame was retarded expensive and the wheel sets are top notch.
The Fantic Carbon One is equally outfitted and rings the wallet just as hard. And the S works is...
I was wea
i was riding in a 5ten Maltese shoe clipped in on crankbrothers emallet pedals.
It’s not a massive vibration. It’s just you can feel the gear mesh of the drive line in a vibration that changes with pedal speed. Both bikes felt exactly the same in the vibration.
When you come off a none ebike to the steps you notice the vibration.
May also be the very hard sole shoes and clipped in. But both bikes felt the same vibration.
Spent half the day putting the Pivot Shuttle through the Ringer.
My personal take on shuttle as a enduro rider.
First of all let me say i ride ebikes for one reason. Self shuttle for the downhills in a enduro setting. I don’t want a duel crown DH bike so slack it bulldozes everything.
Ride...
For me i don’t need the most powerful motor, i like a lot of elevation so battery size was important.
But most important was geometry.
I made a big mistake on my first bike by buying a bike with 68.5 head angle and found out with a battery up front that a deadly combination for a true enduro...
Being a motocross rider who rides 50+ in the A class and still being able to ride with the open pro class at local events and finish in top 5 i contribute to Ebike.
My average heart rate for 30 min + 1 lap is 180+.
My average heart rate on my ebike on a 1:23 min loop i do 4 days a week is...
If you fall into the high power lazy no pedal or ride with all acoustic bikes in upper power levels you will Def loose fitness.
But if you train the same time intervals you do on acoustic bike and use power levels to control max heart rate you will have a higher average heart rate and lower...
Have couple days in on my new steed. It’s a lot of fun when the trail doesn’t call for 180 travel bike.
So far pretty impressed with the components of the race.
I swapped out the bars and stem with Diety and bike super fun in Burm turns small chunk.
The updates they made def refined the...
I’m not one to post something just because i saw it happen. I posted this as i know a fair bit about this bikes setup and the rider who rides it.
He bends, scratches and dings less parts then anyone i know. His bike setup is top notch and his maintenance program is better then most race...
