I have the lezyne micro s, like it as it’s small, links to phone and strava.
Works pretty good.
Battery life could be better. About 6hrs in heavily tree riding areas.
Seems to last little longer in open areas.
I have run the HRII on my ebikes and it’s pretry decent i agree it works better then DHRII IN Wet or muddy. But it doesn’t last but about 300 miles of your nice to it on rear of ebike.
My personal opinion i don’t like any of the schwalbe 2.6 fronts on a 30mm internal rim exp the eddy current...
I will add if you have narrow rims 30mm internal or less the 2.4 EC works better then MM.
i find the 29x2.6 MM and Hans like a 34+ wide internal wheel
I run them on a 35 and 38 wheel
On a 30.5 rim both Mary and Hans would roll on heavy g outs and bike act like it cross rutted. You could hear...
I have the 2.4, 2.6 and the 27.5 rear.
Personally i wouldn’t wait for the 2.6 front to buy a set.
Buy the 29x2.6 rear and the 27.5 2.8 rear. It’s a way better match then the front.
But paired with snake skin 2.6 magic Mary is the best combo in my testing.
Even the 2.6 Hans damf was better...
Having owned , tested and Ridden way to many ebikes. Categorizing i wouldn’t say is to far off.
My Bulls bikes where short, quick turning and a lot of people who are not into enduro riding enjoyed them more then some of the other more slack bikes. As for the Haibike, not quite sure why anyone...
I use the ION knee pads and Elbow pads, zip up model.
Like them better then the alpine star and Troy lee. Specially when you put your shoes on first not thinking. :).
Since they zip up on inside you do t have to take shoes off. Comfortable and stay put.
I would agree with that. I personally can’t get away with 30 in rear. I wish i could. Love how if feels everywhere but hard G corners then tire rolls and i take out rims.
With the 42mm internal wheels I’m getting close to 30 now. Was all the way up to 38pso with 34 internal
Has Rob Changed out the tires yet??
The stock tires on that bike are not the greatest match.
Yes agree 100%, i run a 25mm riser bar and a 5mm spacer under the stem a 35mm stem along with a 120mm dropper.
The draw back to that bike is the bars, tires, rim witdth and 100mm dropper
Yes, they will also come on a spec bike we are building.
TNT spec Fantic Integra 180 FreeRide.
Which is almost a dead copy of the bike i been racing minus the spool Valve suspension technology.
Hopefully next year we will be able to sell the bike and the spool valve suspension.
Yes. I am working on a 27.5 setup now.
One of the things i found is even though the ebike is only average of 20lbs heavier. It weight balance in corners is considerably different then conventional Mtb. In testing we are seeing considerably more front tire load on corner entry with same...
After destroying every wheel on the market, i set out to build my own.
Since i have become partial to a mixer i struggled to find a good strong matching hoops front to rear.
After a year of design, countless hours of 3D cad analysis and 6 months bashing with no inserts i finally came up with a...
If you ever want to see, mount a GoPro to your fork leg and video your tire flex in a corner, you be quite surprised at how far the tire flexes.
I found with a EXO+ case dhrii at 31 psi i was 80% on sidewall in hard G turns, after a week of testing i found for my corner speeds my rim was 8mm to...
And in our dirt all around me and my age i can’t think why anyone wouldn’t be running plus sizes. The grip, smoothness and forgiving characters the plus brings.
I use an analogy that some will not like. But to compare a 125cc two stroke to a 250cc two stroke there only 6lbs difference between bikes.
But yet there entire suspension spring rates, valve code, running gear are all considerably different.
But yet the bike only rips the scale 6lbs.
There...
I think your onto something here, as when i rode the Jam2 i didn’t notice the vibration as much or the audible noise as prominent on jam2 as the Shuttle.
Having owned a Jam2 for few months i can say i prefer the Shuttle over the Jam2.
The jam2 is a great bike but it doesn’t corner or ride as...
