That's a crazy downgrade....£800 more for a bike with a worse motor . And the e sommet is over 3k with the e7000 system. Just seems like the e bike production is going a bit backwards....more money for less motor...or maybe it's just me being negative. So many bikes cheaper out there still with...
Sorry this may have been mentioned before. But I'm a little confused by it....is this a downgrade to the e8000 steps? The new Vitus e sentier and e sommet both have the e7000 steps...but then when you go to the VR models it's the e8000 steps?
But I've just got a e sentier 2018 with the e8000...
Completely agree. Really great bunch of lads and looking forward to riding again with you guys and progressing ....who knows in next 6 months I might be trying that gnarly black drop you all did and I chickened ??. Really want to ride again soon lads ?
@Krisj what I would if I was you mate is open your recent video in the editor and play it back in the preview box and see it all jumpy and stuff. Then click that button. It may take 10-15 mins as it's got the whole video to quick render but then once it's done click play and watch it again and...
@Krisj hey man. If you want soother playback make sure your quick rendering your video as you edit it and then it will play it back super smooth in the preview box. The quick render button is under the video box in too right. It's like a little play button with a circle around it. I click that...
P.s I can already tell a non e bike won't replace my e bike. But I am stoked to have a little work horse when I want to keep my best safe and out of all the winter salt and grime on some days and to have an upgrade project.
So here she is. I'm impressed by her looks . Changed the pedals over and took all the safety reflectors off etc etc. Just been out for 2 mins on her and boy....riding an e bike has really made me forget what riding a non e bike is like again. Having to use gears properly , no assistance etc etc...
The amount of times I've thought about that little box.....haha. but then I really would feel like cheating pedaling with a motor at 25 -30mph just seems to cross too much over into motorbike territory for me. All I want is a 12Kg e bike with a 1000wh pedal assist that once assist kicks out it...
More and more I'm starting to see my E Bike as a adventure bike. Gets me to places I would never get to inactivity. Normal bike...top of hills and cliffs and spend hours exploring and not being knackered and sweaty....but...as I progress at the bike park is m not sure if I'm starting to feel the...
It's not often I have to disagree but I do on this. I can only go by my experience but on my e sentier I literally spent just short of £100 changing tyres to thinner and less knobbly as to make a difference and it may have made a slight difference...maybe....but defiantly nothing really...
Yeh I guess that's true. I would just like to have a bike in maybe a year's time that's had various upgrades over the year to be the dogs testies in terms of hardtail. Get a nice 140mm fork on front and nice drive train, good brakes, put dropper post in. Just making sure this Boardman can have...
Yeh I felt/feel like that. But I'm looking forward to having a non e bike for the winter months so on the real bad weather days I can go bike park still and not worry about my e bike getting damaged with salt from road etc etc. I know e bikes are built to handle all weather but it's still the...
I did the classic thing of thinking the e bike was everything I would ever want and sold it for a good price ?. Although I'm happy to have a hardtail again in a non e bike.
So I just bought this
Boardman MHT 8.6 Mens Mountain Bike - 2019
With a discount code got it for £580. I've had the raidon forks before and there actually pretty good.
Should be perfect for me for a non e bike that I can upgrade and also use for when I just want to throw something around in...
