So now heading into colder weather I e been wondering more and more how to store my bike. Battery in house every night? Whole bike in house ? Leave bike in shed with blanket over it?
So thought it would be a great idea to start a thread where people can post there tips and tricks on looking...
To be fair k don't know. I've been pretty lucky all my acotuic bikes have run smooth as butter with very basic maintenance for a few years and then I just buy another bike anyway as j fancy a change. Just never had a new bike that creaks and a big component doesn't work. And no I probably wasn't...
From where your ' O ring' is on your forks you either have not hit any bumps or you may need to set up your suspension for your weight as it looks like your not using much travel. Just a helpful hint :)
I was just on about this to somebody recently and they did mention it was £1000 also and they would have to put cash towards the rest. The government should double it for e bikes to promote them as a great form of transport and because they cost double ??
Thanks Gary. From me that's still about 1 hour and 20 mins away so not really local but appreciate it. Going to try somewhere called cycle technology in Wakefield (if anyone's heard of them) and see what they say. Apparently the do full e bike go overs and set ups for £100 on there website. Can...
When I was injured I left my Shimano fully charged for 5 days and went back and it was exactly the same. Mines new too and to be honest for the price of the battery's I wouldn't expect any difference unless they were maybe 18+ months old.
I agree and this is my worry too. Don't want to spend 2 weeks mucking around shipping bikes when it could be done in 15 minutes. I guess it would worry me on what if something big actually happened to the motor again with it being online purchase would it be a super PITA to get warranty...
To be honest the creak isn't terrible....hardly noticed it on my ride tonight but it isnthere. And the dropper post just doesn't work. It could be a simple fix but I personally still wouldn't know where to start which means a new bike I would have to pay for it to be fixed as it came faulty
Because I'm still in 30 days and the item does not work as should is it not just a case of theybhave to replace or give money back if worst comes to worst?
I bought online and I'm currently going through a warranty claim with my bike creaking abit when pedalling and also dropper post hasn't worked since day one. I bought from chain reaction. Although bike is ridable and fine to do so I want it to be right and while in the first 30 days put in a...
I would just like to keep it and they pay for full warranry cover at local bike shop. Simple for me and they don't get a used returned bike. If however it all got a bit funny I would return for refund for faulty goods and then look at a 2018 levo ?????
