Jenson replaced the brakes with sram codes according to the OP the rear pipe shares a port in the chainstay and the mainframe with the speed sensor wire, chances are the "mechanic" that fitted the brakes did a very ham fisted job of pulling the pipe through resulting in the kinked wires.
I can't see that happening, if users have the ability to swap the motor settings between 27.5 and 29 wheels its going to be extremely easy for people to set the bike to 27 and gain extra assist speed from using a 29 wheel. granted it will only be a small gain but its still above the legal limit...

Turns out bosh had sent them a replacement battery 8 weeks earlier but they told the customer that the warranty had...
Bike shops are not franchised and an IBD has absolutely no obligation to fix problems on things bought else where, you have no idea what you are talking about.

the reality is that parts are sent out by manufacturers but...
Unless you dealer has an FEA machine to hand they will no idea what caused the failure. like i have said if its a manufacturing defect you have nothing to worry about if it was impact orbea WILL know.
How on earth can you claim a picture " clearly shows its from the inside out" I always find it suspect when someone immediately goes to the internet for support rather than just getting it sorted at the dealer. if its legit it will be sorted if its crasg damage you will be offered a crash...
its was in development for 3 years, you specialized fan boys really are hard core.
getting back to the original post, orbea are very good with warranty claims when they are legitimate, but be aware they WILL know if the failure is caused by crash damage/impact they have facilities for NDT...
