I follow this guy, great places he rides. He has a canyon torque ON too now, seems to be loving it. He did mention he did a big case to cause the failure, he rides his bikes hard.
Well they've only just released a revised version with the coil making a return. It would be cool if specialized really went for a DH style ebike. We got the kenevo sl taking the enduro line now, and the gen 3 levo is super capable. I wonder how well it would sell though? A lot of older chaps...
I've never parted ways with my FF...but i've owned every specialized SL model including the latest mk2. All of them have been sold now, i kept the levo sl mk1 the longest, I rode this bike so much, it had great battery range for the power.
I would have kept the levo sl mk2 if i got the right...
There has been leaks of the 2023/4? kenevo sl which shows it has the new motor. Why they gave it to the levo sl this year? So people will rush to buy the new powerful levo. The kenevo sl has been heavily reduced (as the mk1 levo sl did) to shift the old stock also.
Specialized offer transferable warranty, so does trek but its only for 2 years. This also depends how much warranty is left on the bike second hand too.
God just reading through this thread. Certini should get trading standards on them, £100 off? that bike belongs in the bin.
That's serious frame damage not a scratch or a blem bike.
If certini bought this as damaged and cant get a new frame under warranty, how are you meant to get any...
Yes, there was a leaked photo of one the new colour ways which had the new motor fitted.

LW are more pricey and so harder to sell also. The market for them thrives with people who love them, but i imagine so many people have lost money selling them on later (myself included)
No worries! The lightweight ebike market is one Im very passionate about so spent alot of time researching. The only price reductions that will happen is when trek release new colourways, normally that sometimes reduces price of older models.
I see your in london? if you check out these boys...
Hi there!
So i'll start with the specialized levo sl 2022, by the price you've shown this will be the older model (gen 1). This model is light and good on battery, however it has a noisy motor that is quite slow to pick up. A lot of people love this bike but its dated in geometry and the motor...
Agreed. You would think theyd make a point that its got the new whisper quite (not true) faster motor in to add to the selling point but i can see them just dropping it in the description on the new colour ways, maybe adding a G2 next to it like they did with the levos (G3)
ah yes i did see this. Surprised they aint started rolling them out yet. I do wonder if they will do a annoucement, or just drop them in like they did the new paint schemes on the gen 3 levos/kenevos.
Hi im 6,2ft 34 inseam
I had the S4 in an expert when it was released. I done about 733 miles then got a S-works frame at end of 22 in S5 which is now on 726 miles. I've sat on/rode a trail on my friends S6 he is also 6,2 though not as experienced in modern bike sizing.
I am happy with my S5...
