Levo Gen 3 My Levo is constantly breaking down is this normal ?

yes.. assume wiring loom refers to the CAN wiring and probably does not include the battery to motor cable. Overall I was implying that the work done by your LBS appears to be one of simply change a component and see if that fixes it. If the fault is completely dead that is an easier fix than...

Levo Gen 3 My Levo is constantly breaking down is this normal ?

what model and year? So in summary your bike has a new battery, new motor, and new wiring loom, and still it causes problems. I note neither the TCU or motor to battery cable were changed during this time which makes me wonder if one of those 2 components is/has been the actual problem. Since...

Code R's - cannot keep the stopping power constant.

that little hole is an air gap to allow the bladder to expand.....it is possible some Dot got between the cover and the bladder when you opened the bleed port and when you pressurise the lever the expanding bladder will push that out. that should be a one off however.............if Dot continues...

Mavic E-Deemax 30 hub bearing help!

no experience with these hubs but since the washer has no pin holes it is probably not threaded in...........so must be a press fit. It may come off a bit like an end cap by inserting a tool which is a reasonably tight fit into the centre and levering it side to side. Otherwise an expanding...

Bike size and impacts on Jumping?

Well I will contradict either your coach or your interpetation of what he/she is advising! Assuming the jump has a ramp longer than a bikes length and you have reasonable speed you centre yourself on the bike with slightly bent legs and arms. You do not need to pump because as long as you keep...

SRAM HS2 rotor or wheel hub .

I know you said the hub surface the rotor sits on looks flat but I would still suspect a raised section or a little imperfection there rather than the hub itself being out of true. If the hub was not square it would make the wheel wobble as well as the rotor and you said the wheel runs true...

SRAM HS2 rotor or wheel hub .

seems unlikely.....6 bolt or centrelock? maybe they are not sitting on the hub properly or the wheel is not true.

Levo Gen 3 Power issues 22 Levo

Apply the liquid gasket to the frame and smear a little grease on the base of the TCU then fit the TCU. The smear of grease will prevent the liquid gasket sticking to the TCU.

Levo Gen 3 Power issues 22 Levo

I used lithium grease outside the connection which is a male female arrangement so no way that grease can migrate to the actual connectors. Its purpose is help water penetration so dialectric grease is of no benefit there. Indeed dialectric grease should not be used in any way it can come into...

Levo Gen 3 Power issues 22 Levo

On my 2019 Levo I wrapped the TCU with tape ( the TCU comprises a top and bottom half with no seal between them), used liquid gasket to create a seal between it and the frame, and wrapped the tail lead connectors in self amalgamating tape. Again, never had any electrical problems with that bike.

Levo Gen 3 Power issues 22 Levo

your test does suggest a faulty battery but there is still a chance the power cable is responsible. On the gen 2 levo the 4 connections are + and - and 2 signal wires ( part of the CAN). I dont know exactly how the CAN operates but it is the CAN that enables amps to flow from the battery to the...

Levo Gen 3 Power issues 22 Levo

are you guys referring to the short Rosenberger plug ended cable that connects the battery to the motor? If so, that cable caused problems on the gen2 Levo and was replaced by a modified cable in early 2021. The issue was that the cable was too stiff which resulted in the plug at the motor end...

    Strive:ON problems

Elimination process:- 1. See if the noise is still there when pedalling whether seated or stood up on the pedals. If it is still there it is not the saddle. 2. See if the noise is only associated with fairly high torque on the cranks or also with only light pressure on the pedals. If is still...

Bosch Flow App - News & Updates

If you go back to basics about how power is delivered for all the popular motors, both crank torque and cadence are sensed in order to ensure smooth and useable assistance. An expression of the total assistance..ie. 340% in the case of the Bosch CX is useful as a guide but little else is since...

Levo Gen 3 2.6 OEM to 2.4 Your experience

All my tyres are 2.4 or 2.5.............when I had a Levo I changed the Butchers to Michelin enduro ( not the E Enduro). In general I find 2.6 tyres a bit vague in terms of handling especially with lower pressures.

Most of my riding is forest downhill runs and short but steep techy climbs.....often needing similar technique to trials type riding...e.g. stopping on the brakes to reposition the bike ( ps I do not profess to have any trials riding skills!!). I tried setting EMTB to +3/+3 and it is amazing...

Haibike xduro allmtn 3.0 replacement crank

Bosch CX motor so its an ISIS spindle fit crank..........the only other thing to consider is Q factor ( essentially whether the crank is straight or flared outward) to ensure it provides clearance on the chainstay. Best to get both cranks. Also check what length crank you want...........either...

Saddle advice - 10 days later and still coccyx pain

Another factor not mentioned in the posts a bove is general cockpit fit and specifically how much of you body weight is on your hands compared to how much is on your saddle. In general the more upright your stance on the bike when seated the more of your weight is being support by the saddle...
