Where things get complicated... don’t get confused between power and torque, i’ve No doubt the Bosch has more power(small amount) but nowhere the torque of my Brose, if we have a situation where both of us are in a high gear and go round a corner and have one of those ‘Oh Scht’ moments i’m In...
Interesting read, but blimey way more complicated than these posts, I bought a Levo at the begining of lockdown, wifey bought a Whyte S150 with a Bosch motor, just get the job done in totally different ways, jeez i’d Be posting all night about the individual quirks that the two motors have, I...
That’s cost cutting for you... went through the same process as you just before lock down, even down to the ‘Blimey better some home work’ wife went Whyte 150s and I went Specialised Turbo Levo, but currently it’s any bike with either Bosch or Brose and 625.
As a hard core biker as in motorbikes...
Interesting thread and frankly still non the wiser, but as my wife bought a Whyte 150 2 weeks before I bought my Turbo Levo,my experience over the last month the ZX is a stronger motor, hence my enquiry on a Rail 9,but was offered such a monumental kicking money wise I dropped the idea, unless...
My situation is further complicated by the fact my wife bought a new Whyte E-150 the week before I bought my Levo Comp and now having the opportunity too ride them back to back on a regular basis I think it’s a better bike but hey ho :(
I get all of that but my question is a very simple one, did I have a 19 motor or the latest 2020,all I see is smoke and mirror answers,my back ground is a motorcycle one so yes I get the Motocrosser comparison, but at the same time you wouldn’t get anyone trying to sell a 19 model bike as a 20...
Rob i’ve No doubt your source was the same as mine(via a dealer) and yes I got the same reply, but it’s a simple question ‘Where is the cut off from alloy to magnesium’ the ‘Rolling changes’ may well be a great PR reply but when folks have just coughed up five and a half grand strikes me as being...
Without going into all the pro’s and con’s just had a conversation explaining that because of the way these bikes are manufactured, the motors are built 6 months in advance, and when pressing the individual on the phone asked was my October 2019 motor the latest version he said yes with...
Well you can file me in the astonished section.... buy a new bike in June 2020 and find it has a motor built in 2019 which is old hat and out of date,my advice to anyone looking too buy new check the engine date before leaving the shop like I should have done grrrrrrr.
Talk about double standards... bought my wife an E150s last Friday got it home when sat on the garage floor cup of tea in hand really started to struggle with the low slung cable, she’s a little less rash than me so i’m Sure she will be fine, but I just couldn’t pluck the courage up and went Levo...
