Flashes between normal display and top two leds which are red over blue.
Edinburgh were not sure of the fault lights
Feeling really disappointed with what I thought was a top end brand.
Same happened to me, twice cleared fault lights by disconnecting and reconnecting, 2 days ago total failure, replaced power cable, great 24 hour turnaround by Edinburgh Cycles Newcastle. Emailed Specialized customer care, no response, should have bought a haibike.
Same, replaced the battery/motor power cable, less than 900 miles logged.

It looks tight between the guard and tyre, I’ve had no issues.
Added a couple of holes and removed the lip by filing it flush to the id. No shortening required.
Large front mudhugger fitted to the rear, only a small mod of removing the lip and adding extra holes.
The sponge is jammed into the recess of the the cross member of the rear link adjacent to the tyre. I will add a pic tomorrow.
I put a piece of scouring pad sponge in the gap between the swing arm and motor housing and fitted a a front mudhugger as others have, I also filled the motor casing gap with silicon grease.

Called into my local dealership, the Specialized rep had been in and discussed the known issue, however no sponge inserts forthcoming, cmon Specialized it’s not like sourcing unicorn horn is it?
Just fitted some sponge from a scour pad externally, and ran a smear of silicon grease along the case joint to seal the gap. Ensured drain hole was clear first.
2019 basic, second ride today 25 miles.
Well it was my fault, regarding my previous comment about difficulty in connecting plug, I’m a clutz.
Noise, not noticed it noisy, I previously had a Scott with a Brose and it sounds no louder.
Distinct hum from hubs on tarmac.
Mission control faultless...
