Probably far easier and more accurate to measure the seat stay and chain stay center to center from the rear axle to each pivot. Then you would know if your theory is correct.
Mine
Chain stay 18.125" (460mm)
Seat stay 18.625" (473mm)
I am struggling to figure out how to download a map on the app. I have WiFi and its selected in the app. I then hit the download arrow down and it turns into a square with a small blue dot above it. Then nothing happens. Am I missing some magic setting somewhere?
Thanks
Extractor- The usually have some Loctite on them to keep from rattling out. Don't really need it but its handy when you have to pull the crank arm without a special tool.
Procured on Saturday. Took it right home and proceeded to see how well the dealer built it. The answer...not as good as they should. Rode it 12 miles that afternoon just to feel it out. I bought it to be able to work harder and find that the low mode was far better than expected.
Yesterday...
Pleasantly surprised to get a call yesterday saying my bike is in. Asked that any service bulletins be checked (lock ring, firmware etc) and gave them a saddle height to shoot for. The first thing that comes off is the stock saddle and my Ergon goes on. Then it stays bone stock until the bike...
Fantastic write up. These are some pretty gruesome failures. Interesting to see a map of where the correlation is to mud riding. Lot of these pics show extensive water intrusion. I live in southern California and never wash the bike. So far so good.
Should have some axial 'lateral' play when cold. As the motor heats up, the parts expand, and the play largely goes away. Good engineering.
I thought I had a bad motor this summer and it turned out that the splines on the crank arm were shot due to pedal strikes. New crank arms solved the...
Four subtle yet distinct increases in friction each revolution of the cranks with the display on but the motor assist off. I ride with several analog guys who like to chat going up the hill. With my Decoy E8000 motor I cant readily hear a thing they are saying. Might as will be my wife on...
Noise is holy grail for many going forward. The engineering side is pretty straight forward turning electrons into twist. The resulting decibels is really hard to solve. The harmonic drive has some real advantages in terms of less RPM required and a concentric architecture with less moving...
Looks like my large 9.7 delivery date has slipped into no date given territory. No bikes anywhere around me either. There are 9.8's within 60 miles however. I guess I can swallow the $1,100 delta if needed. I have a 'go' from the chief financial officer and I don't want to let that window...
My Mahle fuel filter split in half inside the gas tank on my Husky 501 way the eff behind enemy lines a few years back. I was stranded for nearly 24 hours and had to walk out about 15 miles. So yeah, I know who Mahle is.
Off topic but still brings back some PTSD...
Quiet is a huge discriminator for me, which gives the TQ a very large advantage over the others. I can imagine Specialized sweating bullets over the noise issue on any new release right now.
I rode there in early September. I finally saw a no ebike sign as I ended my two hours there. Not another soul there that I could tell. Not quite sure what the bike deal is. So many one ways and you cant spin a tire under power. Seems like Class 1's are pretty benign.
Just my opinion- I would rather have metal cranks than the carbon. I just replaced my Shimano 165's on my Decoy (way to many pedal strikes) to 160's. Two crankarms was $60.
