This is my friends bike and it’s really clean and has been very well looked after. Can definitely recommend taking a look if you’re in the market for a Levo.
Amygos is the best one without a doubt. I had one in my old Kenevo and it took a right beating and I never had a issue with it. I tried a Rockguardz one before it and it was total crap in comparison.
I don't like the guards/skid plates that use the battery bolt to locate. It's the the last...
Also good idea with the drain holes although I think they will quickly become blocked with dirt.
I can see why you aren't putting the Specialized logo on it. I agree with @Johnsok77 that it doesn't need the S. It would look better without any logo at all.
I think it looks great as well. Would it be possible for the handle cut out to be removed. I have found it to be a weak point and it's not entirely necessary as the battery can still be removed with it filled in as it is on my home modified rock guard. I have fibre glassed a thin sheet of...
Nothing is indestructible. As long as it can take sliding over rocks and roots rather than shattering like the original one that's the important thing. A direct impact with a rock on the bottom of the bike would likely do more damage than just smashing the battery rock guard anyway. Given that...
That's some pretty robust testing. Put my name down for one and I'll see if I can break it on (or off!) my bike. If we can a few people signed up and get them for around €50 that would be great.
Cool. Definitely interested. (y)Could you do some destructive testing preferably with a big rock and video it so we can see... Only joking but it would be good to see how it holds up to hits.
OK if it was illegal then make it so it works the same but reduce the speed it assists up to.
@DetailsMonster you have to lift the back wheel off the ground, stick it in a low gear and let the wheel rotate a couple of times and then it kicks in as it was before and doesn't feel any slower...
@KeithR that being the case why haven't Shimano, Bosch etc. done the same thing? Bosch have just released their "85Nm" firmware upgrade and walk mode still functions as it did previously and as Rob says the new Shimano motor has a powerful walk mode.
I'm not being @rse at all and that's not a...
@Specialized Rider Care please put it back how it was! No one can seem to find any legislation that states it had to neutered and none of the the other manufacturers have done it.
Yes it does kick in the lower gears eventually but this isn't much use if your struggling to push the bike up a...
Unfortunately not. The internal diameter of a Fox spring is 35mm and RockShox is 38mm.
The heaviest weigh spring that RockShox do is a 650.
@Krisj might get away with that. My friend who’s 18 stone has a 700 on a Kenevo Comp with the standard Marzocchi (Fox) shock and it works fine.
