I’ve heard about that. I just want the LPP turned on. But I want to walk in to the local Trek/Bosch dealer with the best possible response to why I want it turned on, on my non Trek bike……hoping they don’t just kick me out!

What are all the parts they enabled? What was your reason you said to them for wanting to enable the parts? (Parts meaning: the Bosch outlet plugs?)

The Megabobra plug only fits the LPP and HPP outlets. Headlight and taillight plugs are different.

So what was your reason for wanting the LPP turned on?

I wouldn’t know……my bike isn’t sold in any stores, only online. I’ll have to call the local bike shop that sells Trek 😬 I’ve heard it’s a royal pain to get a Bosch port powered on!

I didn’t feel comfortable probing inside the tiny Bosch outlet ports so I cut the shrink tube back on the Megabobra so could easily meter the voltage at that point. With the Bosch turned on I am not getting any power(12v) from the LPP or HPP!….neither are turned on.

Whatever shock you end up getting, I would recommend getting the dhsign~ FixShox 20mm bushing for the frame/shock mount.

I prefer the EXT E-Storia coil with Cascade long travel link, what a difference! But I am curious how you like the new Super Deluxe Coil with the hydraulic bottom out control, for half the cost of the EXT!

I corrected, I meant Gen3 Levo. I’m not putting this system on that bike. I was just explaining how the speed sensor wire is installed on it….thinking maybe I could do the same with the Megabobra reed sensor and magnet

The speed sensor is inside the rear swing arm on my Gen3 Carbon Levo Brose system with a rotor magnet…..guessing it’s using a reed sensor to pick up the rotor magnet.

Will the reed sensor pick up a magnet rotation signal if the reed sensor is inside a carbon fiber swing arm? Or was this system built with the intention that the reed sensor would be externally mounted on the inside of the swing arm? Approx how far away can the magnet be from the reed sensor?

Both are 12v, but HPP=high power while LPP=low power. I would definitely try the LPP

I’m waiting for my CrestLine RS 75/50 to show up in a few weeks. VPP suspension and new Bosch Smart Race system.

2022 S-Works

This is how my XX T-type has been from day one(2022 S-works) Is the pie shaped gap normal? Everyone else have the same?

I’m guessing any of these would work with your system if I don’t want to use the magnet you provide? I would like to use the Levo magnet,…. provided I can get your sensor wire/reed switch far enough inside the swing arm to align with the magnet!

Any luck activating?
