Ah I wondered about that while I was installing your V1……thinking why couldn’t the Bosch rim magnet be utilized, but then you would have to make sure only the Megabobra unit is picking up the rim magnet and not the Bosch sensor.

What reed switch and electric magnet coil are you using?

The magnet that works the best so far, I’ve moved in different positions while on a ride. The only thing I haven’t done is rotating the reed switch to a different position facing the magnet.

Bosch must be referencing a different error code than the two error codes I’ve been getting because I just power off and back on to regain full assisted power out of the motor, as well as eliminating the error code on the Kiox. There hasn’t been a 90min ride time reset or emergency/limp mode.

This picture shows the yellow circled reed switch position and how the spoke magnet S & N pole passes by it. The reed switch is in between the poles. I have now spun the rear wheel by hand(not pedals) many times while watching the speed display, I’ve done this with my other style spoke magnets...

Just to clarify; when I talk about my spoke magnet I’m talking about the new aftermarket magnet I added to my spoke to pass by the Megabobra reed switch. The Bosch system magnet is called a RIM magnet(secured to the valve stem)
