Just say no to integrated batteries

I like the semi integrated like Fantic did, easy to remove, fits in low and centered in the bike, 500 or 630

    Fantic 180 custom build

Keep an eye on your lower chain stay pivot bearings there poor quality front factory and fail quickly. Once they fail they are quite challenging to remove. Recommend replacing with a good quality max bearing before they fail

    Fantic 180 custom build

On my personal bike i don’t see a reason to carry the weight up front and ebikes already nose heavy. Also only use snake skin case Mary. In this case the customer just asked me to duplicate what i have on my bike. With the wide 36.5 internal 29 wheel the side wall is stout and you can run...

Ebike tire showdown. Michelin E wild vs Schwalbe Eddie Current

The rear is as predictable as they come, the front is vague, unpredictable and nerving. I just don’t trust it. The Michelin front on the rear is really good big the casing isn’t as tough as the designed rear and the front wears fast on rear. But it is fast and grippy. I did blow the bead out...

Ebike tire showdown. Michelin E wild vs Schwalbe Eddie Current

Spent the day testing on the course and the fastest test runs where Mary up front and 2.8 Ewild front soft compound on rear. The soft compound has way better braking traction then the rear compound. You can feel a small amount of treat squirm in the hard pack and paver turns but it’s minimal...

Ebike tire showdown. Michelin E wild vs Schwalbe Eddie Current

17-40psi. Found it worked best in low 20’s. I’d say 17-23 range it shines. Hard pack flow trails 23-25. The case is strong enough to mash a decent rock garden at 20 and not feel the rim without a core of any kind.

Ebike tire showdown. Michelin E wild vs Schwalbe Eddie Current

I never been to fort Williams but it must be fast chunky as can be lots of rocks and rutty mixed with loose turns. That tire combo is king in those conditions
