When your wife doesn't know what you spend on bike gear......
45nrth boots and hotronic insoles. Notice the holes for studs. They are awesome! Removable boot liners.
I am not being negative about the SL but I wonder if it will have enough power for winter riding. I do mountain rides in the winter and use two batteries on my Turbo to complete one ride when it is below freezing out. I recently purchased my third Levo , an 18' carbon expert that had been...
I have three bikes now. I always keep my batteries at full charge and ready to go. Anymore it seems like every ride I'm able to ride until my battery is dead. If I bring two batteries then the same thing. They always get charged the minute I get home. Even if they are warm. Probably not...
As a long time Levo owner I'm wondering how the SL is in the snow and cold? I need every electron the Levo can muster when pushing snow while climbing. :D
I have three Levos now. When my oldest hit 5000 miles/ 8000 km I decided to pull the cassette and chain ring off. It has a 32t Praxis steel chain ring. I laid the old chain ring on the top of the new chain ring and there was no observable wear. I've never had any chain suck on the Praxis 32t...
There is a 18 Levo carbon at the bicycle center in salt lake size XL. I would snatch it up for my wife but it is too big. I have two 17's and a brand new 18'. They are solid bikes. My first has 5000 miles on it and now I use it for a spare and for inviting friends. The other day I did a 40...
If your bike is working fine then why would you want to update it? Firmware updates can have a give and take effect. If you are satisfied then don't mess with it. For example, the first Levos had crazy power and torque. Firmware updates neutered those bikes. I didn't mind as much since...
Ooops, I guess this poll is for newer Levos? I have two 17's. One with 5000 miles. It is bomb proof. After almost four seasons on my 17" I just bought an 18' Carbon Expert that had been sitting on the showroom floor for two years. That makes three Levos. I am very happy with the earlier...
Hey, even in golf they have a handicap. ?
Anyway, it's just plain fun. I get a KOM, then Strava sends the former KOM holder an email telling them they aren't the fastest anymore. They then either flag my ride or post on my page and I change the classification. It should be a feather in...
Very interesting. Thanks for posting. I just bought my third Levo. A brand new 2018 that has been sitting on the showroom floor for two years. The battery date is two years old and original. I've ridden it very hard until dead like 10 times now and it works perfect. I figure if it has a two...
Probably not the chain. Maybe bent derailleur hanger, or adjustment, or loose free hub/axle. A KMC will go 1200 miles or more. A SRAM will go much farther with fewer breaks.
I have the Garmin also. I seem to remember that the LEDs go fubar soon after the buttons stop working. My original batteries were 460wh. The newer 504wh have much better performance. What is weird is that my old 17' batteries never had LED problems but the newer battery did.
