11 speed Shimano SLX cassette lasted 2000 miles and would not accept a 3rd chain. KMC 11 speed chains last 1000 miles before 0.75 reached. I find the small front Bosch Gen 2 chain ring needs to be replaced with every chain so 1000 miles for that also but they are as cheap as a chain.

quite easy to strip the lockring as the teeth don’t go in very far. I find it better to lay the bike on its side and apply downward pressure while loosening the lockring.

yeah my head set ball bearings which came with the bike were like mini maltesers without the chocolate coating. 3 of them were crushed to powder.
