Hope your ok mate. Those drainage channels are front wheel hookers..heal up well buddy.
+1 for what3words. It’s what the emergency services use to find you in the sticks..It’s free :)
In EMTB you have turbo available with the right amount of torque through the pedals. Where this update seems to excel is low cadence startup, and on the trail when you need a kick and over technical climbs. It also feels more natural. Don't know about Eco and Tour. It's super fun.
This is a...
Seat is a razorblade tbh!! Get yourself an Ergon SM-EMTB for full comfort..!
Honestly, first swap out should be the tyres though. It will transform the ride. Minion DHF front and rear or the Pirelli Scorpion. Go tubeless also, I believe it's pretaped.
Everything else is upgrade as you go..Let...
I'd wear armour and a Full Face there. There's a lot of rock.
My experience of BPW is you either come away with a broken bike or body!!
I find the pedal up a bit much even on an eBike and for 3.5 hour drive each way for 9 runs I don't really find the value in it, personally. I know some find...
I think the ZEB will only be marginal Gains. I rode Rob's Lyrik on the Stilus and I think it's one of my favourite forks..I used to be an absolute Fox fanboy but for comfort and all round fun RockShox seem the way ahead. My Fox 36 Factory has always been quite harsh..
I love the fact you can...
Horses for courses dude. I would get a new wheelset for commuting with a separate cassette as you will wear out your lower cogs if you commute and then ride MTB at the weekend. As you say pop some road tyres on and the rolling resistance will be far less. You'll screw MTB tyres on the road...
Try loosening your mounting bolts. Squeeze the brakes and tighten up the mounting bolts with the brake still applied.
Failing that sounds like contaminated pads. Won't harm to clean the discs either. Us Propylene Alcohol or get Disc Cleaner (It's just PA). A new set of pads is around £15-20...
Just a quick one. If you are lucky enough to get one do a thorough bolt check.
The crank arms on Rob's bike came loose on a ride today and a crank fell off, the other was also super loose. Rob said the hanger was also loose. Thankfully we had an 8mm in the bag to do it back up on the trail but...
I agree. All the contact points are fairly junk on the Levo if you're a half-serious rider.
You'll save a lot of rotating weight with those wheels. We shaved a lot off my bike switching to the DT Swiss, they really are bulletproof and look the nuts :)
SRAM Code R's are just OK. No real...
Mate your gonna have a blast. Decathalon are by all accounts super helpful. One thing we didn't mention is there's a lifetime warranty on the frame.
If your planning on riding the peaks I really would change those tyres dude. That place is a tyre killer, we were there last month. The stock...
Not sure. Probably very good but it would steepen the head angle a bit back to stock and raise the BB a bit.
Mullet, for me, was the perfect set up..
Like I say, even at £3.6k it’s below the price of a Cube Stereo and you’ve got an amazing front fork and updated Geo/Ride quality from the...
Hahaha..
Mate your gonna love it. Those brakes will need a 'regular' bleed, so if you can learn how to do that and get the kit..
Just get an Ergon SME dude. Best saddle I've had, and I've sat on a few...Easy but fiddly change yourself..!!
Let us know how you get on :)
