with these longer a longer bikes... hmm... L's reach is 487-491mm (I'm happy with 475mm reach on my analog bike, and I'm 181cm). I'm not sure if sooo long ebike is a good idea, it can be a plus if you like straight roads or just bombing down in The Alps
M has re=452-456mm
230x60 ^^
I see that Topaz 2 230x60 should fit then
what about 230x65mm (or at least 62.5)? do you think there is a space for additional 5mm? (and flip chip in high position)
drag comes from moving all gears/transmission and motor's rotor,
however it's not big (comparing to drag from tires etc), on my Bosch gen4 i can keep 27-29km/h for longer, like on analog bike (similar tires - minions 2.4-2.5")
So I want to upgrade shock on my Rail 9.7
standard one is 230x57.5mm
anyone tried 230x60 ? I guess it depends on piggyback size (RS have quite big).
does any 230x57.5mm fit? no clearance issues ?
so my bosch gen4 625Wh disabled power at 6-7% recently, i was cruising back home on eco/tour mode.
so basically, it reserved 38-43Wh for a light for 2h ? therefore software assumed i have ˜20W light ?
ah damn.... so service centre has to deactivate one, and ACTIVATE aux port ?
I can already imagine that conversation.... and their stating that it's not possible, or i want to do smth wrong
and that they can't do that ( they don't know how / they don't understand / they don't want to take...
accidently I have a Trek Rail, but with the same Bosch as Orbea Wild FS, so I can share about the range. (bosch gen4, 625Wh)
On a good day I did 1100m elevation (35km), boost mode constantly and i had 35% left, on flats motor was not used (i was doing 27-29kph). - 60% motor / 40% me (Avg. User...
what's the voltage on aux power output ?
compatible with 12V 1A (or 6V 2A) outputs (as i mentioned, it's 6-7.5W so it matches 1000lm).

So without light it allows to work a bit more (drain more battery) ?
When you connect a light, you have to activate it in a software as well? (By service I guess?)
so if I disconnect the light - i have to visit a service to change it in a softwre ? (or use quick connector in a future, but then...
It depends a lot on a rider.
on a good day, i did 1100m elevation (35km), boost mode constantly and i had 35% left, on flats motor was not used (i was doing 27-29kph).
60% motor / 40% me (Avg. User Power 244 W)
But few days later, when my legs weren't so fresh, I was using way more power, and...
yes, i'm talking about MTB (not gravel riding :) ) and i can feel that now bike slows down a bit slower, and handling is a bit different (Trek Rail - 22.5kg) - comparing to my analog Sentinel (16.5kg?)
people say that bigger battery (+1kg) in a downtube can change feeling a bit as well. (like...
I was riding on eco slowly to home, with about 7%,
when suddenly Bosch 4gen (Rail), turne off, and display (nyon) was only showing an exclamation mark on battery.
At home, when i started charging the battery, it started already from 5-6%.
Is it normal?
I guess I have to take it into account always?
