Article Range Check - How far can you go?

The most I've got out a battery is 4917ft of climbing! Can't remember the settings, but they were low. This was in month 2 of owning an e-bike; when I still had my biking legs & I still used the road bike for fitness. Garmin Strava Cyclist Profile | J A M E S. Specialized App with power...

    Bug mode

Short version (how I understand it) The first firmware gave you full support from the motor e.g. 500 watts in all modes. Then they changed the firmware; Trail only gave you 400watts; zesus get's round this. Yep, it feels way more natural.

How to carry a spare Specialized battery???

I use an Evoc bag with the back protector. I don't use a bladder; I found it too heavy with both. I put a jacket either side, which stops the battery moving around.

First ride on the Öhlins TTX Coil shock

I was very happy with the fox from the year before. But for me the RT3 was crap; maybe I should've tried a shockwiz or custom tune, but didn't want to throw any money at it. I've only done one ride! But it's completely different. I'd read on the internet about weight limit or different stroke...

What tyres? The Ultimate Tyre Thread

Currently running Vittoria MOTA 2.5 x 27.5; they measure approx. 2.6 on the 35mm rim. Awesome levels of grip, excellent under hard braking and superb cornering. I was previously running maxxis dhr 2.8's F&R

First ride on the Öhlins TTX Coil shock

Obviously, the trails came alive! The shock is very very smooth and an absolute joy to ride. I didn't get on with the RockShox Monarch RT3; it wasn't as good as the Custom Fox Float Factory DPS (from the previous years model). The fork feels completely different; its way more balanced (Ohlins...
