It's already been verified that the 2 specs to be released first (the Comp & the S-works) come standard as mullet with a flip chip to make them full 29er if desired.
I just can't believe that a 130 trail bike comes standard as a mullet.
There is also the little issue that the Evo far outsells...
I hear ya, just don't understand the need for a motor for anything less than lots of steep riding, which short trail bikes aren't ideal for.
Glad I still have my Relay deposit.
I know the KSL is a great product (and I can easily buy a barely used frame on PB at a fair price) but it has a...
You were told no Evo version? Really? That seems counterintuitive.
That would put the Relay in a class of one with no competition really.
Hoping you are incorrect.
So vague! Could you elaborate?
What's better about the motor? How is the noise level?
What's not so great about the frame?
What does your build weigh and what size is it?
Thx.
Bike fit is highly personal and varies greatly. Too top it off, these bike manufacturers don't always measure very accurately.
I'm on an extreme in that at 5'11" I like a Reach around 500-510mm, otherwise I feel like I'm holding on to my knees while standing.
Based on your description, I'd say...
The old S-works was $15K with no Flight Attendant.
The S-Works completes are for a particular type of customer who doesn't mind paying a premium to buy someone's idea of 'the best' as time is more important to them than money.
Some would argue that we are the fools for screwing around...
The SL motor uses a proprietary crank standard that is failure prone with no aftermarket options, correct?
What kind of real world weights have people gotten with their existing SL?
Just trying to learn about the platform. Thanks
There are 2 primary reasons I'd swap to the new Levo SL from the Transition Relay I'm supposed to receive next month. To be clear I don't live in the mountains and I'm a strong climber. I ride rough undulating terrain.:
Pros:
1) Saving weight. I get that the motor and battery are lighter and...
I use to polish my sport bike frames.
You just start with rough sand paper, go finer & finer, then move to polishing rouges. You can make them look like a mirror, unless it's a real low grade of Al.
GL.
It was the long chain stays that made Yoann so much faster on the Grim Donut. You can clearly see that he is finishing the turns faster and tighter.
He had similar speed gains getting off his old Commencal (short chainstays on L bike) and onto the GG.
