There is no such thing as a 'new UDH-T AXS'.
You simply remove the UDH, and install the new Eagle Transmission in it's place. Transmission does not use a hanger at all, but does need the exact spacing left by the removal of the UDH to fit a frame correctly.
You are still confused.
UDH works with all derailleurs, but you can only run Transmission if the bike came with UDH. That is all.
The other stuff you are saying is gibberish (not trying to be rude).
Anyways, in this frame price range no UDH isn't a big deal and I have no intention of ever...
The only 'standard' derailleur hanger is the UDH and it works perfectly with all derailleurs, is cheap and available everywhere.
Not having a UDH is a major turnoff as I already have a high end '18 bike where the derailleur hangers, just aren't really available any longer.
There seems to be...
I use to ride MX a bit with a magazine tester and he was pretty honest, without being derogatory. And there are a lot fewer brands on that side.
You're about to hear some mildly negative reviews on the Levo SL as several reviewers have subtly mentioned the short CS length, including PB...
That's a reference to frame layup and flex characteristics, assuming a typical weight for a rider on each size.
It's expensive to have different molds for the rear chainstays for each size, plus you have a large contingent of riders that actually shop wheelbase as if it's geo number all on it's...
Fyi- as you add more travel you don't need as much progression, because you have more travel to dissipate the energy.
So the kenevo can naturally get by with less relative progression.
Personally I just wanted an electric SJEvo. Didn't get it however.
The SJEVO already has too linear of rear suspension for aggressive riding, which is why they respond so well to the Cascade link.
Unfortunately the new Levo SL advertises 'more linear' suspension kinematics. This is good for...
You can not take a bike from 75.8' to 79' sta by sliding a seat forward, ime.
I have a SJEvo that Spesh lists as very close to 77' in most settings. I also run it with a mullet link, but with a 29" rear wheel which steepens the bike a lot.
Furthermore I have an SQLabs seat with long rails...
The extended CS position also corrects for the taller 29" rear wheel. So if you use that position combined with a 27.5" wheel, the sta, hta & BB will be very slack & low.
Hopefully someone will machine some new CS adjusters or a longer clevis link that will allow people to combine the long CS...
Your Comp weighs within the margin of error (+/ - .25#) of the S-works, because you have a manual 12 speed and a non AXS dropper.
It wouldn't be too hard to get a trail spec SL2.0 to 37#s or so.
I've always considered my own SJEvo pretty much an Enduro bike and was left confused by the new...
Unless your old motor was broken outside of warranty, this just isn't a cost effective idea.
I speculate the fit difference is because of the new honeycomb case making it slightly, but physically larger, in every dimension. Probably just 2-5mm, but that's enough.
It's wild that the Relay was announced and shown nearly a year ago and they are just trickling in, and the new Levo SL is hitting the ground before its even been officially released.
Awesome.
Any ride reports coming back yet regarding the frame and the motor in particular?
The CEF50 doesn't have a flip chip or anything to compensate for a mullet configuration does it?
Buy a used rear hub, order a CF wheel from CarbonFans & have it laced locally.
This is essentially what I did by repurposing a lightly used hub I had on the shelf.
On my SJEvo (also uses a 34.9mm seat tube) I settled on the KSLev Integra 31.9 x 200mm dropper (I'm 5'11") as the right combo of lots of drop, light weight & good functionality. I could actually have fit a 210mm Oneup but I really dislike how those feel, and they are heavier.
As I recall the...
