Thanks for the input. Decided to go for the Superstar option, as they have a 75% off sale. If they end up being crap, at least I haven't lost a fortune!
You've made my day! Should have been £350 but now £87.50 including delivery for a set of wheels!! I'm now thinking they must be crap:unsure:
Anyway, I'm going to give them a try and see how it goes. Thanks again for alerting me to the sale.
Yes, seems like a pain but I quite often do a circular road route when I can't be bothered getting caked in mud. In summer, I also ride to see family and most of it is road and towpath, with a little farm track thrown in. I would also like to learn a bit more about maintenance of hubs etc and...
I'm looking at upgrading my Turbo Levo Expert Carbon 2020 29" wheels and would love some recommendations. I haven't got a fortune to spend but probably no more than £400. I intend to use the stock wheels for road, towpath and farm track stuff and use the new wheels for XC, Bike Park, Muddy...
That's not good but at least you got replacements (I know this is no consolation). I decided on Specialised because I'd read so much about the warranty and service being so good. Hope I will never need it though!
Thanks. I haven't a clue if it was registered or not. The Specialised Concept Store never mentioned having to register it. Maybe they did this for me as part of the sale?
Thanks. Mine was black, so maybe it was a 2020 model. All I know is that it wasn't the up to date model at time of purchase in Oct 2020. Thanks for the wheel info though, that's exactly what I was after.
Just curious but what's the warranty on a carbon frame? I'm sure when I bought my bike, the Specialised Concept Store said the frame had a 5 year warranty!
Thanks for posting that. I did come across something similar when I searched myself but was unsure if it was the same spec, as mine came with a Fox 36 fork?
I suppose the other specs will be the same, so would it be safe to order wheels based on those specs?
Not really up on bike tech/jargon but where would I find a complete spec of my Turbo Levo Expert Carbon. I’ve checked all the literature that came with the bike but it’s all just generic stuff. I purchased in Oct 2020 and it came with the extended 4 year warranty, according to Specialised...
Thanks everyone. I was hoping I could use it as I can’t seem to get hold of an E Wild rear, everywhere out of stock and that goes for other brands I’ve searched for.
I bought a set of tyres for my Turbo Levo... Michelin E Wild front and thought I was purchasing the same tyre for rear but when I received them, I noticed that the rear was a Wild Enduro (teach me to order after a few beers)! It states that it is eBike ready, so I'm guessing it's fine to use...
It seems to be random settings but I'll monitor my next ride and report back. Due to work commitments and bad weather, it may be the weekend before I can ride again.
Thanks, I'll try that but I'm not using any smart settings (heart rate control etc). In fact on Sundays ride, I only used Strava on my Apple watch to record the ride but the settings still changed, even though Mission Control wasn't running!!
Thinking about it, I did use BLevo for a ride last week but can't see why that would make a difference. On Sunday, I checked the settings pre ride via Mission Control and all was OK. After about a mile of riding, I stopped to check, because I thought there was too much assistance and the Eco...
Firmware is the latest as I only just bought the bike a few weeks ago and they told me the fimware had been updated.
I don't have any tabs...I'm using iPhone 7 and IOS 13.5.1.
So to clarify...after I have saved my settings to a preset, by just returning to the home screen will mean those settings are applied to the motor?
If I quit the app without returning to the home screen, the settings won’t be applied to the motor (even though I saved the settings to a preset)?
