The DPX2 is a nice shock for sure. It will feel a little firmer in the early stroke compared to the coil and X2. Might want to just sell the DPX and use the funds towards an X2.
That is a great point I hadn't thought of. Another clue is that the integrated power meter/speed sensor register zero about every minute or so as well when hooked up to my Garmin. As an example, riding up a paved road pedaling normally, the bike will report that I am pedaling, then that I am...
I have run it this way on my previous gen Kenevo, both Levos and now this new Kenevo without issue. It is merely the minimum and maximum power settings and the TCU will figure out how it should respond smoothly. You can setup multiple profiles with three maps per profile so you can have a...
This is rider only power, but it is highly inaccurate. On my 2020 Kenevo is says my bike is stopped and I am not pedaling about ever 45 to 90 seconds. There are also certain situations where I am barely pedaling and it says I am putting out 300 watts and other situations where I am pushing and...
Personally I would not run a coil on the Levo. The shock is a structural member so you lose a lot of stiffness plus there are a lot of failures of the shafts breaking. It is bad enough that Fox has put out a memo that the DHX2 should not be used and will not be warrantied when used in...
The standard Levo/Kenevo output from Specialized is really poor. When connected mine has the bike stopping about every 15 seconds and about 25% of the time it will lock at 16.7 mph until the bike is turned off and turned back on again. Power output reporting is all over the place as well.
For everyone looking to use a Garmin with the SWAT tool, take a look at a K-Edge mount.

Mounts on top of the stem putting the Garmin over the bars, but doesn't block the ability to access the SWAT tool.
So, I have been having some interesting experiences since upgrading to 7.4.1. First off the motor output is variable/adaptive with the update. I'm not talking about the standard pedal harder and get more power, this is my fourth Specialized eBike so I am pretty familiar with the platform...
Definitely puts a lot of stress on the shock. No matter what air shock you run extra service needs to be planned. My X2 does not sound great after a descent right now and it is slowly losing pressure over the period of a week. This is after about 1K miles of heavy riding.

Personally I just run Swat bibs with a tube/CO2 in a ziplock in my back pocket and the Swat tool on my bottle cage.
Thought I would share my experience in case anyone else is trying to make the decision. Originally rode my bike stock and was very happy with the performance of the stock Marz coil. Not much to complain about with it, but figured I would try the X2. When I put it on the bike felt a little...
^^ This, it has been a known issue for a while now. I think Fox put out a bulletin about six months ago, maybe longer.
What is interesting is that the Kenevo still ships with the Marz coil so?
I have run several sets of LB rims. They are very strong and a good value, but also very harsh. Probably not a big deal if you don't have a lot of rocks, but here in Socal they are very fatiguing. I didn't realize the difference until I started riding them back to back with SC Reserves. Then...
I have AXS on three bikes, two MTB plus my road bike. Also have XO1 on another bike right now so I can compare them back to back. I do make micro adjustments on my XO1 bike, but it is not a big deal. I didn't say AXS isn't good or isn't worth the money, I said there is another place I would...
