    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Once again... You don't take into account the maximum current programmed in your controller. But I have my answer thanks @Freda

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

You mean you're running 43V with a 43V battery and when you plug in the battery extender with 36V nominal you load a new firmware into the motor?

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Intuitively, I'd say that the nominal voltage and max current are hard-coded in the controller. So if you take a 43V - 13A firmware -> 560 W If you power it at 36V, the max current is alway 13A... So your Pmax will be 36 x 13 = 468 W. -> You lose 100W of nominal power on your motor... What do...

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

You say that the engine behaves exactly the same whether it's powered by a 43V or a 36V battery? That the cut-off is set to 80% on the batteries is one thing. That the bike operates identically, I doubt it. What have you experienced on this side?

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

So my only option is to develop my own 43V battery extender. ..

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

And it works well? Isn't there a problem with the Cut Off? Battery 43V Cut off = 40.8V ( 3,4 V / cell) Battery 36V Cut off = 34V (3.4V / cell) Intuitively, I'd say that with a 36V you have an operating range that goes from 42V (Full charge) to 40V (Cutoff) and then it cuts off, right?

    M820 Bafang - LIGHTCARBON LCE930 Frame (lightweight)

Hello everyone, Does anyone know if there are 43V battery extenders? I find a lot of 36V or 48V but nothing in 43V. Has anyone DIY'd one and have any advice? Thank you for your help.

Battle of the M820 lightweights. Questions / comparisons regarding CEF50 vs LCE930.

So, if we try to summarize in a few lines the feedback on the CEF50... (I read diagonally quickly, there will certainly be corrections) - Overall satisfied with the quality of the frame, the after-sales service and the paints offered by the company. - Apparently it's possible to fit 55x210...

Battle of the M820 lightweights. Questions / comparisons regarding CEF50 vs LCE930.

The battery debate bores me to tears. Nothing personal though 😏People all want the biggest battery.... But they don't take into account engine consumption, their mode of use. And when we ask 3300 ebikers about their riding time, they average 1 to 3 hours maximum per trip. So why on earth add all...

Battle of the M820 lightweights. Questions / comparisons regarding CEF50 vs LCE930.

The two geometries are very similar indeed, but the point that worries me about the chassis is the design of the carbon suspension rod (the link between the front and rear triangles). Usually, this part is made of soft materials like aluminum. I wonder how this part ages over time when subjected...

Battle of the M820 lightweights. Questions / comparisons regarding CEF50 vs LCE930.

Great! Send me the link as soon as possible 😉. If I understand correctly the CEF50 with 720wh is not really a light weight? Can you get it under 19 or 20kg ?

Battle of the M820 lightweights. Questions / comparisons regarding CEF50 vs LCE930.

Has anyone done a serious comparison of these frames? The 200g difference between the two is not really the key point... Does anyone know the volume of the possible battery compartment? What are their advantages and disadvantages? From my point of view, the geometry of the LCE930 is more...
